Nerf ReXXaR in another way, maybe?

Last patch we receive some early game Misha’s HP nerfs, but actually not only HP is a problem.
Some ways how to ruin ЯeXXaR player’s day:

  1. Misha’s death cost is too low, trade Misha to kill or save an hero too effective:
  • Change XP value from 0.25 to 0.5;
  • Change revive timer to 15+Y=X, where Y is 0.5 Y for hero.
    (Hero’s death time are scaling +1 for 1-10 lvl, +2 for 11 lvl, +3 for 12-14 lvl, +4 for 14-16 lvl + 6 for 17-19 lvl, up to 65 at 20 lvl; but Misha have +0.5 for each lvl, so at lvl 20 revive timer is 24,5 instead of 40.)
  1. Misha faster then heroes, unfair advantage, remove that:
  • 15% all the time, so you cant run away easily
  • 30% while reatreat, so she could run away very easily
  1. Misha’s leash range is too good.
  • Now it allow to XerreX stay too safe, 20-30% nerf will be nice.

Maybe someone also have ideas how to slightly nerf (completely destroy) Rex?

Nerfs I can think of for Rexxar:

  • Hunter Gatherer Armor reward to 10 from 15
  • Decrease leash range a bit

Currently that 15 armor is the most picked talent on that tier and helps Misha and Rexxar staying alive and safe quite a lot.
And ppl complain about a lot about him being too safe behind Misha (which should be rare tbh at least on high tiers, since Rexx is the dmg). So decreasing the range would raise his skill floor a bit and would make him risk a little more.

This is pretty much, imo, the shining outlier for Rexxar now. Leash range is enormous and makes a lot of crazy “plays” possible.

Well if he is at max leash range rexxar is not showering you with his new improved AA which mean you have an easier time against misha than before with her reduced damage and health.

Have to admit. Misha doesn’t die unless Rexxar actually throws her to the wolves or the player is just bad. So having her award less XP doesn’t make much sense.

The ability to control two chars should be traded by both Rex and Misha awarding full XP. The amount of control he has in-lane doesn’t really have a drawback.

People have started picking animal Husbandry. Rex with more HP than Stitches or Diablo is scary.

I always loved that talent, but it’s really risky and makes you less effective earlygame cuz you’re super scared of dying.

As long as it’s only your pet that dies you’re AOK :slight_smile:

But you need to be extra safe if you picked it. No camp steal, no solo boss, less pushing, so they can’t gank you and in teamfights, less AAing despite Rexxar being the main dmg and not Misha.

The armor talent has 60%+ pickrate on hotslogs in the last week and month.

If you make sure Rexx won’t die, you give up value. It only works if you build for late game and one misstep and you have no pvl 4 talent.

I always play extra safe so I’m good :slight_smile:

I don’t solo a boss if the enemy isn’t busy, or if they have a reason to come check. And I rarely camp steal when not playing someone with bribe or mobility.

Animal husbandry needs to be change into something like KT’s, Butchers or Medivhs quest.
So after you reach certain treshold, like 500 HP or so, you won’t lose it even you die.
To compensate this, you would get 1 HP (or 1.5) per sec instead of 2 per sec.
So he would go from 120 HP per minute to 60 (90).
600 (900) HP after ~12 minutes and 1200 (1800) after ~22 minutes is strong, but not that OP.
