Mute players from previous match during game

I can’t believe there isn’t an option to mute someone not on your team in hots. A simple /mute or /block command would do it. Had some jerk in a match who got salty, so I gged everyone anyway, and then they spent the whole next match spamming the same message at me at half-second intervals and I couldn’t do anything. Very silly programming, and a very very silly person.

If you block them they should remain muted for as long as they are blocked.

You can, even if the game ended. /w that enemy player, a whisper tab will be opened on the top right of the chat box.

If you don’t remember the full username, check your Replay tab, it will show all 10 players in your last match.

Say nothing to them, just right click, then select “block communication”.
If you’re in-game already, go to Social then block whisper.

I realize it can be done from the chat menu. What I’m saying is it cannot be done from the in-game menus. And since this particular delightful piece of work pretty clearly deliberately waited until my next match was starting to start spamming me, there was literally nothing I could do for the entire match but have half my screen flooded with messages from this salty fellow from my previous match.
Evidently the devs saw fit to give us a way to unblock someone not on our team during a match, but not to block them.

Just turn on bnet friends only whisper then he cant spam you.

Ye i also found out when you got that turn on and you /w someone yourself he can /w you back. But i guess that one is intended.

Same goes for Silenced players too. If you /w them they can /w you back.

True. Deleted posts above though since it may encourage a certain type of person who was unaware of how this works.

But if devs read this topic, OP’s bug is very real. That is all to be said.
