It would be great if we could multi select heroes to pick for Quick Match, similar to the favourites queue option we currently have available.
For example, I might want to queue as all Starcraft Assassins for a quest.
Or I might want to choose multiple heroes which suit my current party’s setup (instead of choosing just one) in order to reduce queue time.
A multi select option would be favourable over a favourites queue option because:
a. You can select different heroes without having to go through your profile and edit each time
b. Favourites queue has a minimum limit of 5 and a maximum limit of 8
c. You will be able to keep your favourites while queuing with different heroes
Let’s look at the philosophy behind QM to see why this feature was not implemented. In essence, it is in the name (quick match), you queue quickly and play quickly. It isn’t supposed to be HL quality teams or game play. Is this a poor philosophy? When the game was released it worked! Everyone was still learning the game, unfortunately, after the majority of the player base learnt the mechanics and the heroes the concept behind QM no longer served its purpose. Blizzard being stubborn did not reevaluate the issues with QM and that is when the game started bleeding players. Trying to band-aid QM with patches is not going to fix the core issue, QM has to die and be replaced with something else.
