Hi everyone.
Recently my main account was banned because I answered to people who called me trash, noob and things like that. (People already told me that this was a bad idea)
So, my propossal is that blizzard should allow you to create maybe 2 or 3 heroes accounts into the same battle net account, or, the second option is to migrate your smurf account into your main battle net account.
With this option available, you will lost all your progress in HOTS (heroes level and rewards from past seasons), but at least you can keep all the items binded to your first hots account, in my case HGC items, alpha and betha phase, rewards from collectors edition of other games and things like that, also you can keep your friends into just one battle net account.
The comparison from banned account in Hots to prison in real life taught me that it feels unfair that your account is lost forever, while even prison, where prisoners usually do way more extreme deeds and crimes don’t get a punishment for eternity. Except Blizzard compares their way to punish bad guys to the religious idea of “hell”. But it looks weird and unfair.
Short: Lifetime bans are bad and it shouldn’t be possible, at the very least not for accounts, where people put money on it.
I play since alpha phase, more than 6 years in the game, I buy the boosting item every year, I bought coins in twitch to support the HGC tournament, I bought gems every time I like a hero or bundle, I have collectors editions from other games (fan of world of warcraft), and I’m playing blizzard games since 2009, I even bought the blizzcon virtual pass and the last year I went to the blizzcon in California. I even buy collection figures, clothes, pins and other stuff from blizzard store.
I know there are people that never changes, I know a guy who has 4 accounts closed due abusive chat, people like me learn the lesson, I proved that because I had 2 years in a row without a warning
What’s the difference in create a new account and keep your main account? the first case is even worse, lets suppose you are platinum-diamond, you create a smurf account, you got bronze 1, you can climb very very easy to platinum with all the things you know from higher ranks, when low ranks see that you are very good, they just gave up at minute 3, this cause that their team mates just feels bad about that, they quit, and probably they never play again. If you just play in the rank you deserve, all is equilibrated.
I thought that defending myself from other players bad words was fair, but no, blizzard take that as a valid report from those players, even when they started.
Obviously you said something back to them worthy of a ban. I can’t remember the post, but it demonstrated that you need somewhere around 30+ reports to get an automatic action against your account. If you’re reported that often, the problem is either something you’re doing, or you’re just popular enough like Grubby to be falsely reported, and I highly doubt it’s the latter.
I didn’t know that blizzard can take that as a valid report, sometimes I said: I’m gonna troll… to my friends, or things like: report stukov (my friend). Blizzard can take those things as a valid report too.
In my new account I’ve disabled the chat to avoid these problems, and yea, I got a suspension 2 years ago, changed my conduct since then, with the perma ban I learned the lesson, that’s why I don’t say anything now. My point is, blizzard don’t take in mind that you have 2 years in a row without bad conduct
