Morales Changes

I like the updates. Reduction on timer to get energy back rewards you for using healing beam efficiently and in short bursts. A few problems though.

  1. Her grenade talent at 20 has little synergy with grenade quest and was not buffed to be a proper level 20 talent. Not sure what they could do, maybe add some additional cc to it (silence for instance). In a real competitive game I dont think i’d ever pick it over stim/medivac upgrades. Glad the devs moved it though. Makes her grenade build bigger (though not necessarily better lol)
  2. her w/aa builds are still boring as heck. I get that this changes from person to person but I only ever use grenade build. It’s not the best per say, but its certainly the most fun. Most w talents dont change anything. You still put them on a target about to take dmg. oh wow this time it gave me 30 energy back… wohoo? As for aa build you should be aaing anyways? I’d like to see some changes. Maybe she hits harder but has a much slower attack speed. Maybe her aa’s cleave. Idk I never see them picked. I dont even want them to be good just interesting. the talent at 13 is a fantastic start. give me some more at 1/4/7.

Honestly, they should just swap it and Bedside Manner, give Bedside Manner some big buffs, and then be set.

Second Opinion was an excellent talent on level 13, especially if you went for the full DG build.
Now at level 20, it’s too little too late. Besides it being copy-pasted from level 13 to level 20 (which is almost always an indirect nerf) it doesn’t actually synergize all that well with anything but Bedside Manner, and BM is terrible. Both Second Opinion and Bedside Manner would require some big buffs to be viable on their current tiers.

One other thing I’d like to see reworked is her level 1 talent: Clear.

Why is it still a quest? It just encourages me to spam grenade instead of use it tactically.

There’s a reason why stitches got hook range automatically at 13 instead of it being tied to some sort of baseline quest. Muradin’s baseline hammer quest was also removed for the same reason.

Quests and CC spells just don’t mix so i don’t understand why Clear is still in the game.

Id like to see a grenade radius increase just tied to a talent that you get on a later tier.
