MOBA games really funny? Unlike offline games, there is not an end of story in MOBA games. Although the more you play your skills improves little by little, MOBA games are never cleared.
I started playing HOTS by vs AI games and shifted to vs player games half a year ago. However, I feel I can hardly get any fun from HOTS. Yes, after you get more skillful you win a little more. However, the game matcher will then put you into losing streak to balance your win rate. So basically there will always be a time that no matter how struggling you finally lose the games. And then after that much of losses there will be games in which your teammates can do 5 kills without you. You are not important at all.
In the past when I am in losing streak I kept complaining in the chat box. But I will just quit the game if I witness the possibility of another lose.
Personally I play mainly to have fun/practise with my heroes rather than to win.
I think single player games are probably what you are looking for
??? O.o
Best I can figure out, OP is saying if he gets another losing streak he will quit.
@Op!
If you win a lot, it means that the players you’re facing are not a challenge, or it could mean that. That’s why after winning streaks, your mmr rises a lot and you face stronger opponents. But if your skill actually isn’t higher, the stronger opponents will destroy you and (might highlight your allies’ look mistakes more), so you won’t climb out of your league. The same happens with losing streaks.
You know, with a working MM, your chance for a win should be around like if you’d toss a coin. And if you tossed coins you know that it can have streaks easily. So the MM needs to be sure it wasn’t mere chance. That it has you where it’s the most fair for you and for your allies and enemies.
But if this is something you can’t handle or pretty unfun for you, online teamgames are not for you. And that’s fine.
But know, that (overall) in reality, you are the biggest factor in your matches.
It’s how balance works in HotS, when you win too much, the matchmaker put you with worst and worst teamates till you finally settled at 50/50 % winrate. Although the better you are you will still be climbing the more games you play, but it’s long cause you win more than you loose innevitably (assuming you’re constantly the best player possible reagarding your matches)
but it’s how matchmaker works trying to even the teams all the time, not especially putting you with constantly better players (ally/opponents) if you win, but by putting you with *supposely* in games where MMR average of both teams are ~even.
I took a relaxed layed back attitude at the cost of tryharding. Maybe I lost a few ranked points because I want to try heroes I never play like stitches or auriel. I went from dia 1 to 3/2 so its not to bad
I enjoy the game even more now. Not that highly competitive but doing my best to win
I simply play the heroes I like to play, winning comes second (although I can get bitter for losing often).
My drive to play is to simply have fun and relax. The games are relative short, so I am not dedicating a lot of time per round and can stop whenever a match ends.
I was a huge fun of story-driven single player games in past.
But after discovering hots for the second time (yes, this is not love at the first sight for me) I couldn’t stop playing for a few years. Now my passion for game is a bit lower but I still care and love it
Moba (almost wrote Nova here instead, God, I love that hero ) games are fun, every single match feels like unique experience, you always have ways to improve and playing with friends is always fun! (even in Fortnite Kappa)
