This is still happening right? There were some skins from the previous event that i wanted to get but i didn’t, i assume all other mecha skins are returning?
And also when is the event starting, which date?
Edit: I have no interest what the event will be called, it can be different one and that is fine, i just want the mecha skin returning this next event so i can buy them
Mechastorm is part of the summer seasonal event rotation. Or at least some of the skins are.
The summer event should start soonish. Last year’s event started on June 17th, so around then most likely. Probably when the next ranked season starts in 2 weeks(I think)

Well, I think some mechastorm skins are available year-round. All mechastorm skins are obtainable at some point in the year at the very least.
I think it is highly unlikely that our next event will be Mecha Storm 3.
We were given a new Mecha Tyrael Skin during the current event. They wouldn’t have bothered if they knew their next event was Mecha. As the skin would just have been included in it.
I’m pretty sure the Mecha Yrel skin will be purchasable (or obtainable from lootchests) during the Summer event, regardless of what the event theme ends up being (probably the event itself won’t be mecha, like @phaseshifter said).
Same as “Winter Veil” skins were obtainable during both Toys events, or lunar new year skins during the Dark Nexus event we just had.
What we don’t know is when the event starts, but all previous years summer events were active at some point in june, so I guess soon.
Hi! I will try my best to explain to you the types of cosmetics in the game.
MechaStorm I is a subevent (like Enforcer Event, Viper Event, Resistance Event,… or the recent Mythic Pantheon (Greek Gods) Event), which means their cosmetics (skins/sprays/portraits,…) are available all year round and will NEVER disappear. (MechaStorm I skins are: Mecha Tyrael, Mecha Rehgar and Xenotech Abathur.). Subevent cosmetics’ prices WILL be reduced after a while (about 2 weeks or sometimes, until the Seasonal Event (that it was released alongside with) ends).
On the other hand, MechaStorm II is a Seasonal Event, a Summer Event to be precise. Seasonal Events are divided into 4 seasons and the Event’s theme doesn’t necessarily match the season’s theme. All Seasonal Events so far:
Now that you know all the Seasonal Events, here’s how their cosmetics “work”. Seasonal Events’ cosmetics are available for a limited time and will return annually. For example, the current Spring Event is Fragments of the Dark Nexus, so in the shop, you can find its cosmetics AND all previous Spring Events’ cosmetics (like Caldeum Complex’s and Lunar Festival’s ones). The prices of Seasonal cosmetics WILL be reduced when they return in the following years, NOT after 2 weeks of their initial release (so you have to wait at least 1 year to get them with reduced prices).
Finally, there are limited-time cosmetics like mounts that cost golds instead of shards/gems (Ex: Wonder William) and limited-time skins (Ex: Deathranger Nova) that, of course, are only available for a limited time. Some MAY return in the future after their initial release, but no one knows for sure which ones will return, when they will return and maybe some won’t return at all.
I can see that you’re interested in the Mecha Yrel skin (I have it, it has beautiful animations and effects.) from MechaStorm II Event (that also has Mecha Valla and Xenotech Malthael). Like I said, MechaStorm II was a Summer Event, so its cosmetics (including Mecha Yrel skin) WILL return with this year’s Summer Event (which is the next Event, btw) and their prices are also reduced! So you will have to wait just a bit longer to get Mecha Yrel with a discounted price. (If you want to know more about the discounted prices, just ask me.) =))
Maybe, no one knows for sure if there would be MechaStorm III or not.

with the skins and designs are made with more graphics and quality. I especially like Macha Storm 3 or even 4.

Tyrael, Malthael, and Auriel have their mecha / robot skins so it’ll be fitting for all the Angiris got their own mecha skins.

TBH I don’t like the last few mecha skins… Valla looks lame and tyrael has bazilion rockets on his back, he looks like he is carrying some wardrobe with exhaust ports.
Yes, exactly. Provided that it is original and high quality. Macha Storm will always be a good choice.
I also like a Uther or Arthas mecha storm skin,as Mecha Paladin and Mecha Death Knight.

There should be a Mechastorm Medhiv similar to Autobot swoop.
Tassadar was / is a legendary skin. If they do them all like that, all those skins would be legendary, which means almost no one would open them in boxes.
