Hi, I mostly play valla on QM. I’m a Master Valla with 5200 games on her, and level 598.
I would like to apart from only discuss what’s your opinion regarding the different builds, and talents. What should be changed about her and what could be added instead. I feel she has 2 level 20 talents to powerful in the right hands.
Any thoughs, opinions, something to get out of the chest about the character? Happy to talk about anything.
Imo W build is really weak. It’s the safest option true, but it just lack any impact compared to Q and AA. Its doesn’t have enough damage to be burst but it’s nit frequent enough to be sustain. You could say its the only AoE damage option for her, but its not exactly amazing in that regards as well.
I think they need to make the scaling better because right now the damage bonus per stack is really low. Maybe make the 20 stack damage reward repetitive instead of giving it only once. Idk there are so many ways to make the scaling better on the quest without detracting its fun factor or making it too overpowered. Also the W at 16 should be buffed to either grant her more CDR or not give CDR at all but give bonus damage. 50% ability recharge is really lackluster imo. I guess it just comes down to my previous perspective of W build needing to decide whether it wants to be a long CD burst damage or a sustain AoE damage.
Have you seen any counter play by a TLV player against valla’s abilities (other then just not being in team fights above level 7), and if you have, what was it?

I’m a master in SL Valla should receive a slight nerf if you ask me
Its really strong on a couple of maps like braxis and infernal shrines

The AA build makes her one of the strongest ranged assassin on a competent player.
Her other builds are fine.
Mostly when the TLV has more levels and goes Spin with other CC talents, those are really lethal for her if caught off guard.
Her AA is one of the bonkers things I’ve ever touched in a while, that gambit buff was not needed tbh.
I hate when I escape her gank in the solo lane with like five health remaining and that stupid little arrow chases me down and kills me.
Nothing against the character of course, it’s my fault for getting ganked in the first place, but man it just makes me irrationally cheesed off.
What’s a good counter to valla?
also, personally I find Q build really boring and annoying, but it’s top tier on maps like BHB and big mercs
also yeah like zare said Valla is one of Viking’s biggest counters, you can jump her with Play Again! on 10 but only if they are brain dead
Yes, that is annoying, I only play AA and vault build. nothing else.
