So, are we just not going to talk about how there is a green dark nexus ragnaros portrait but no green dark nexus ragnaros skin?

Just as scandalous as those other 50 portraits that are not implemented as skins. Gosh, glad I didn’t miss that one.

I always wanted the Jo skin where she is dressed up as a lifeguard, with the flotation device for a shield.

Edit: Oops, that is a spray, not a portrait. My point still stands.

It’s a fair point people are making here that’s it’s just a portrait. Where Ragnaros is concerned I understand why people complain unless you adore red and orange, and red and orange!

I understand to make a new skin for him could cost as much to make a new hero, would it also be that expensive simply to recolor of his three existing skins? Lil Ragnaros, Base and old Master skins? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The excuse that I heard was that they have certain colors associated with certain types of magic. So Fel is always green, Necrotic/“Lich King” magic is always blue, and Ragnaros’s fire is always red/orange.

Now I personally feel that is just an excuse, but it is what I have heard.

We had DW portrait for 2 years before he even showed up as hero.

Umm, that is an odd reason, if only because Jaina’s Dreadlord skin changes the color of her Blizzard ability, one of Cain’s skins makes Scroll of Sealing look red, which I always though was a bad design for an ally team. There are other examples of skins where the animation changes color of an ability, too lazy to mention them.

I don’t see why they can’t just recolor the Rag skins and keep the same ability color animations if this is an issue, I’d be happy with that.

Strangely they seem unusually averse to bringing Dark Nexus Dehaka to the nexus. There is no portrait for him and No skin. The only time you seem him is in the comic.
