So was playing a match on Alterac Pass as Valeera. I was sitting still for like maybe 20 seconds then Lunara comes right up to me and Q’s me.
So I load up the Replay and watch it. At 9:51 I’m sitting there and Lunara just backed, she then B-lines right to me and Q’s me while I’m invisible.
Now from what I understand is invisible works like so, quoted from the HOTS wiki -
> If a Stealthed Hero remains immobile for a short amount of time (1.5 seconds) they will become “Invisible” and will not display any outline or visual effect until they move again, are revealed or broken out of Stealth by dealing or taking damage
Apparently I can’t post links… So I made the replay public on Hots logs so maybe someone can watch it and check it out?
EDIT: for more context I was at the top Lane Fisrt Fort outside the fence … so she had backed and ran all the way to top lane right to me to Q me sitting there invisible.
@ mizpah
Ok I will do that, ya it will be more obvious if people can just see it.

I uploaded the match should be the first one on the list on heroes profile
It happens at 9:51 when she backs and I think it’s at 10:12 when she Q’s me So just by the times you can see I was sitting in that one spot for a long time.
Did Lunara pick Wisp talent at level 1? Did you have red eye thing above your head at that time?
Lunara level 1 Wisp talent works like a detector from SC. There are other talents like it, fort/keep/core having it as default. Red eye above your head means enemy can see you. Not just in terms of stealth mechanic mind you, but when you’re in a bush or in fog of war where normally enemy can’t see you, red eye = they see you (Chromie level 1 talent, Tass level 13 talent, those works like Far Sight from WC3).
No I didnt have red eye… wasn’t revealed at all… I was just sitting there. for like 20 seconds, no one was near me. She literally backed from Mid lane, B-lined to top and Q’d me.
She took Natural Perspective for lvl 1. I was on the outside of fort range on the outside of the wall.
You can upload your replays on, HeroesProfile.com
You don’t need to install anything, just drag your game/replay on the site in Tools → replay upload or whatever the section was. It would be better for you to post the link though, as there are a looot of id named player.

It’s so odd that on a forum you can’t reply to more than one person on your post… I mean what? Like if 2 people reply to the post I’m only allowed to answer only one of them lol.
Ming had vision of you when you stopped movement and it’s not unusual for players to communicate danger pings. She knew where you were but didn’t react knowing she likely wouldn’t kill you and if you ask me, Valeera camping a spot is easier to handle than one sneaking around.
Is there a way to show that in the replay? Like only show mings vision? Because from my view ming went out of my view around the back of fort then into bush, how on earth would she know if I moved or not doing all that?
V for vision after you select red, hold and release, it’s a team wide toggle. It’s unlikely you will see enemy pings, because you don’t see their chat either, it’s a perspective thing.
Ya I just watched it again, still looks fishy because she lost vision of me at 10:04 when she entered the bush for some time… and if you watch slowly the FOW covers where I was, Just an odd thing but that was super suspect.
You could have been more transparent, at least you didn’t stand still in the middle of the lane where unit collision would have sold you out (literally river of minions flowing around you, not through you). It’s a result of a smart play by an observant player warning his team.
When I used the V button to look at both Lunara’s and Li-Mings vision thier vision of you were not the same. On Lunaras vision your hero stand out clear as the sky but on Li-Ming’s vision you were all black.
That’s just the game being stupid. I’ve had black, transparent and regular non-stealth model displayed on separate viewings. SC2 engine has an action camera feature which imitates a human observer but I’m not certain if there’s an exact recording of player frame movements which I believe WC3 had, which you wouldn’t be able to access without their unique version of the replay.
Replays will not show map hacking like that as vision is not recorded locally and neither would map hacks store such vision even if it was in order to avoid detection.
What the enemy should see is their entire team vision. This is the sum of all the local player visions that make up the team including the AI player that runs their base, minions and mercs. When you watch the replay what you see is the legitimate vision that you would see if you were that player.
Action camera shows where the player was issuing orders. It often gives away map hackers if they are issuing orders repeatedly into the fog of war near action with little information to be able to guess anything was there.
i did encounter a map hacking hanzo a while ago, posted the replay on the reddit and pretty much was agreed on being a map hacking hanzo with probably some aim cheats to.
