Make Boosts More Attractive for Competitive Play

I would pay a 1-year worth of boosts if it also included a percentage to points when playing in ranked.

I am 100% against any form of pay to win.

I 100% agree.

This should never happen.

What if you lose? Extra points lost?

Irrelevant, as the system still allows those with more money to get more rank points than teammates who won the same game but can’t afford to buy said 1 year boost.

Therefore it’s a bad idea.

Many people come online to play games to escape the brutal nepotism and rule of money of the real world.

Only personal merit and performance should count in awarding anyone MMR or rank points, not how much they swiped daddy’s credit card online.

I think there could be a unique incentive added to it though, like trophies or a pet that follows you around the battle field and disappears when abilities are casted. They can only be summoned if the player has Boost days doe

Given that “points” are actually MMR, this makes absolutely no sense. You do not gain skill faster just because you pay…

All it would achieve is that people who buy boosts would fluctuate rank more than those that do not.
