Lt. Morales and Medidrop

So, I just had a game wherein my team was ahead a whole talent tier. We were winning team fights and…winning. Level 10 rolls around and Lt. Morales medidrops directly to our core. Okay. We go back and punish them within our walls, but they claim a keep. They do it later in the game again, and we lost even though we were ahead in experience, talent, and objective. We instantly hearthed back as soon as the notification that the ship was being called in was posted in chat. I feel that there is nothing better we could have done against this. Is it broken? Am I missing something?

Because this is a strategy that is very specific to a specific composition. And yeah.

If it is QM, tough luck.
If it is TL… when you see the combo coming together, ban, ban, ban.

If you were playing in TL let them have their medivac comp and just take Falstad or Abathur. Falstad can mighty gust them away from the keep/core long enough for you to kill them, and Abathur can use mule plus go back to soaking and pushing lanes after killing the enemy team.

You will definitely need Falstad with Gust or Zeratul with VP to stop this in TL. Pick one of those.

If it’s QM and your team is unorganized randoms while the enemy plays as 5, then you will probably lose to this cheese no matter what.

Me and some friends wanted to try this once so we build the composition for it, flew to the keep at lvl10, destroyed it and we all died. When we respawned we directly flew to the core just to realize that we could not attack it because the first fort on that lane was still intact. We all died and this was one major fail :smiley: I guess the enemy team had something to laugh… we lost the game at that point.

No Tyrael. They did have a Rag, though. He was very effective. :sob:

interesting.

The team comp I’ve pulled it off with before always had Tyrael and Morales. Normally with Cho’Gall for the sheer damage the shadow volley ultimate can when aimed at a stationary building.

I can see rag being pretty annoying with that.
