Gotta deal with a PVE Raynor suicide rushing your core with a free Hyperion bombardment + his regular Hyperion every half a minute is great fun Blizzard. The talent literally puts your team on a timer like the old hammer ultimate did in ARAM. Except this is in normal game.
The worst thing about it is to counter it you have to be afking in your base waiting for him or you leave your core open to be destroyed. And doing this every 30s leaves no space to actually play the game.
I’d say the worst thing is having a Raynor doing that on your team, so you just lose 4 v 5. It’s just a terrible strategy.

It’s not when the enemy team doesn’t have the minimap DLC or the capability to look at the talents everyones picked to see the strategy the Raynor is going to do.
Just my teams that have that issue I suppose, cause I have everyone from the enemy team on my behind when I do that kind of stuff.
Well, that’s more of a people’s fault than talent fault then, don’t you agree?

It is, but the talent does remain obnoxious to play against regardless of who’s fault it is. I think there should be a gambit quest tied to it where each time you die, your respawn timer goes back up 5 seconds until it hits 65s again.
I don’t uhderstand how you’re not winning after the Raynor kills himself several times in a row?
Unless you had no keeps left, and the enemy team hadn’t lost anything, in which case, Raynor didn’t cause that loss. You were screwed either way. But if not, kill Raynor then countepush.
Personally, I’ve never beena fan of talents that you only get if you die.

We were winning all the teamfights but the Raynor was pure PVE in bottom lane. So whenever we team fighted Raynor was able to hard push the fort then the keep.
The map was Garden of Terror too, so when we got the Objective, the Raynor would also dispatch of them very quickly. They had only keeps left by the end of the game and we had two keeps (Raynor destroyed bottom).
I’d spam pings to warn Raynor is missing, but two Hyperions at level 20+ does A LOT of core damage. Easily takes it to 50% health. And yeah you kill Raynor free exp. But it’s level 20 where exp isn’t as important anymore now, and now player damage outscales structures.
Raynor just waits for his Hyperion to come off cooldown while farming camps and he rushes the core again with another two Hyperions that do even more damage now as both teams are likely level 21-22+. Boom. Core dead.
It’s literally a fight against the clock, and Raynor is able to rush core 3-4 times before an objective is activated.
Can you share the replay? I really don’t think Raynor should be able to finish a game like that.

Something went really wrong then. You won every team fight, but never destroyed a keep. And Raynor made it all the way to the keep and destroye dit despite your team having won the fights. No one ever ganked him?
You win the fight, 2 ppl go kill raynor, then go back and push wth the team. You do that every time, you destroy very structure have have the xp lead all game. It feels like the Raynor was just ignored.
its an annoying playstyle but you just gotta send someone to babysit him like with any split pusher kind of character. Hopefully you have a ganker who can punish him for pushing too far up into a lane.
I’ve never heard of a raynor doing this til now but im sure blizzard will keep a look out for it and if it becomes more prevalent and causes probs they should change it cause I dont think this is the intended use for the talent.
Played against a xul yesterday as raynor and he just kept sneakily split pushing as much as he could whenever ppl werent watching him. I basically had to just follow him around and keep my eye on him to depush him otherwise we’d easily lose our structures. Its annoying but its a playstyle and strat i wouldnt want them to eliminate from the game otherwise we’d just be playing aram.

Confused.
Can’t everyone do this?
It also means you were winning all teamfights because it was 4v5 most/everytime. Either your team just couldn’t/didn’t capitalize it properly or the enemy team was managing it well (not dying easily aka stalling, when team fight loss, make sure to not get 4-man wipe).
I had a similar game too, granted, in the opposite end (that change to Exterminator produced some abomination Raynor players. forgot if my Raynor went Executive Order though, if there even was that talent at that time). Our team won, but because we had to fight 4v5 everytime, there was this constant pressure/load/stress (the feel of being in constant disadvantage I presume). It didn’t help that some of my teammates got easily hooked and died (which becomes auto forfeit on whatever we wanted to do - obj, bosses).
It was on Alterac btw, more immediate impact obj and map with two bosses. Even then our team managed to minimize the loss and pull out the win. To be fair though, the wave does become more stronger compare to other maps when stacked. Difference with other map is that, catapult equivalent mob is in the front in Alterac, acting as tank. that tank soaks up all the damage in minion wave vs minion wave combat, leaving range and most of melee minions alive. You should’ve seen the last minion wave on Drek’Thar that won us the game
. A whole army of dwarf riflemen.
Oh yeah. I rather not have players who do that kind of gameplay in my team.
How about Gul’Dan
Demonic Circle
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Active: Summon a Demonic Circle at your location. Activate to teleport to the Demonic Circle.
- Grants two active abilities: Summon Demonic Circle for setting up the circle and Teleport to Demonic Circle for teleporting to it.
Gul’Dan can crush your core and can get away, and you can’t stop him.
Do I have to mention Lt. Morales medivac core strategy?

Friendly afk splitpushers are real frustrating cause they’re like dumb robots. But the good splitters know when to push and when to assist team mates, and can communicate when doing so.
Once you know that Raynor is doing this, then it’s easy to keep an eye out for him and shut him down before he even gets close to the Core. And the free Hyperion is directed towards the nearest enemy upon death if I recall, so if you’re smart, you can direct it away from the core.
Once he’s dead you can rush the enemy’s fort or something as they’re down 1 player at level 20+.

You are correct. Just make sure Raynor is between you and the core and you’ll redirect the hyperion away from the core.

I have been in QM games with PVE Raynor’s attempting what we should generously call, a strategy. This cheese almost never works, if it really did we would have seen more complaints on the forums before now.
The only times this talent was oppressive was in ARAM, which was why the Devs rightfully disabled Execute Orders for that mode.

that talent isnt good anyways most 5v5 end up with one team annihilated leaving raynor to defend barely to a core finishing fight
