List of bugs in 11/3/25 PTR, updated for version 14.95554

This is a list of bugs that I have tested and confirmed.

Sylvanas:

Note about Black Arrows and Lost Soul (level 7): On the current PTR patch, Black Arrows gains quest progress from the following: Heroes, structures (now including walls and gates), enemy monsters (but not neutral). Besides minions (which is specified by the tooltip), Black Arrows DOES NOT gain quest progress from: ALL mercenaries, summons.

Since both Black Arrows and Lost Soul specify they work on “non-minions”, I will assume they are intended to work on the same targets. Lost Soul currently differs from Black Arrows in that it DOES NOT gain cdr on walls and gates, but it DOES gain cdr against enemy mercenaries.

  • Black Arrows tooltip displaying incorrectly under Collection; should not display since the active is no longer baseline

  • Black Arrows tooltip cooldown listed as 1 second (PARTIALLY FIXED): Now does not specify a cooldown at all

  • Black Arrows tooltip contains one instance of “Black Arrows” that is not capitalized, and “minions” in “non-minions” is not capitalized

  • Black Arrows tooltip, given current functionality on the PTR, “non-minions” should be changed to, “Heroes, Structures, and enemy Monsters”

  • Black Arrows baseline quest listed with the Shadow Dagger (W) icon in the Buff Bar and talents screen

  • Black Arrows incorrectly gains 2 stacks from targets hit by Wailing Arrow or the outer edge of Deafening Blast (level 20). The inner radius of Deafening Blast correctly gives 1 stack

  • Unrelenting Torment (level 1) does not increase W duration (PARTIALLY FIXED/NEW BUG): Unrelenting Torment now increases W duration by 2 seconds instead of the 1 second specified in the tooltip. Additionally, the visual effect of Shadow Dagger still only remains for its baseline duration despite the DoT duration being increased.

  • Haunting Arrows (level 4) tooltip cooldown listed as 1 second

  • Haunting Arrows does not gain cdr until the effect ends; unsure if this is intended or not

  • Mercenary Queen (level 4) and Haunting Arrows share the same color icon

  • Yellow Action Bar for Haunting Arrows (level 4) mislabeled

  • Lost Soul (level 7) grants cdr against enemy mercenaries; does not grant cdr against walls and gates; see note above

  • Lost Soul tooltip contains an instance of “heroes” that is not capitalized

  • Life Drain (level 16) tooltip lists self-healing as 1%; should be 30% (CHANGED): Now says 0% instead of 30%. Talent otherwise functions correctly

Falstad:

  • Gathering Storm (level 1) damage bonus is additive (so caps at 150% instead of 70%), tooltip should specify “additional” if this is intended

  • Gathering Storm stacks lost on death will cause Falstad to lose 1% bonus damage per stack lost, and this still occurs even after the quest is completed. This damage loss is permanent

  • Gathering Storm tooltip doesn’t specify that already gained milestones should not be lost, despite this being in the PTR notes

  • Gathering Storm damage bonus goes to 155% when completed with the “complete quests” button in Try Mode. Otherwise, caps at 150%. This appears to be because Gathering Storm is still treated as an “unlimited quest”

  • Dishonorable Discharge (level 1) grants the 30% damage buff from the 20 stack milestone immediately upon selecting the talent. The 20 stack milestone doesn’t do anything. No part of the 45 stack milestone works as intended - it doesn’t add anything. The 75 stack milestone grants a 2 second cooldown reduction, but not the damage increase.(PARTIALLY FIXED): 45 stack milestone still grants none of its rewards. 20 stack and 75 stack milestones work as intended

  • Dishonorable Discharge 75 stack reward is not reset upon resetting talents in Try Mode. 20 stack reward is correctly reset

  • Frequent Flyer (level 1) damage bonus is additive, tooltip should specify “additive” if this is intended

  • Frequent Flyer tooltip “Attack Damage” should be capitalized

  • Frequent Flyer damage bonus is not reset when resetting talents in Try Mode

Kerrigan:

  • Baseline Q quest stops stacking after 75 stacks, making the 125 stack reward unobtainable outside of Try Mode and Sandbox

  • Q quest loses 10 stacks upon death

  • Q quest tooltip, upon using “Complete Quests” in Try Mode, updates to say it grants 325 damage at 75 stacks and 200 damage at 125 stacks. Each time “Complete Quests” is used to reach 125 stacks again, Kerrigan’s bonus Q damage will increase by an additional 200 damage, stacking infinitely, and the tooltip reward for 75 stacks also increases by an additional 200 damage each time

  • Q quest progress tracker in the buff bar is bugged to always show 0 bonus damage

  • Impaling Blades tooltip says 0.75 second, instead of 0.75 seconds.

  • Fury of the Swarm (level 1) still grants an additional 10% shield gain from aa’s that stacks with new passive bonus, despite the tooltip suggesting it shouldn’t anymore

  • Fury of the Swarm now grants aa splashes for 3 seconds after using Ravage, instead of just for the next aa

  • Ravaging Ferocity (level 4) does not grant attack speed unless your Q cast actually causes Kerrigan to move. Also grants ~56% attack speed in that case instead of 25% (being applied twice multiplicatively?) (PARTIALLY FIXED): Attack speed buff is still multiplicative

  • Maelstrom deals no damage

  • Because Maelstrom deals no damage, Omegastorm (level 20) also cannot give cdr

  • Ultralisk aa’s are hitting twice against the primary target, instead of hitting once and splashing in an area around them

Thrall:

  • Crash Lightning damage bonus in game is 270 instead of the 240 listed in PTR notes (PTR notes just wrong?)

  • Crash Lightning still loses 6 stacks on death beyond the 15 stack milestone. Correctly does not lose stacks anymore beyond the 30 stack milestone.(PARTIALLY FIXED/NEW BUG): If Thrall dies after reaching 15 stacks, the reward is not lost, but the stack counter still loses 6 stacks. On top of this, if Thrall has the 15 stack reward, dies and drops below 15 stacks, then reaches 15 stacks again, he will gain its reward an additional time. This can be repeated infinitely

  • Crash Lightning damage bonuses also apply to the initial target, despite the tooltip only saying the bonus should apply per bounce

  • Crash Lightning damage bonus per bounce does not increase further beyond the first bounce (this could also possibly be misworded/tooltip error)

  • Crash Lightning damage bonus isn’t reset when resetting talents in Try Mode.

  • Maelstrom Weapon (level 1) pinnacle reward is at 100 stacks instead of the 75 listed in PTR notes (Either PTR notes or in game functionality is incorrect)

  • Maelstrom Weapon displays the quest complete notification at 40 stacks

  • Maelstrom Weapon damage increases are additive; tooltip should specify “additional” if this is intended

  • Maelstrom Weapon incorrectly grants an additional 75 aa damage upon reaching the 100 stack milestone

  • Maelstrom Weapon damage bonuses and bonus Frostwolf Resilience healing are not reset when resetting talents in Try Mode. Windfury movement speed bonus is correctly reset

  • Spirit Shield (level 13) does not gain cdr from Frostwolf Resilience; this is reflected in the tooltip as well

Valla:

  • Hatred tooltip listed as granting 0% damage and movespeed (this is also on live patch). Hatred itself functions correctly

  • Fire at Will (level 1) tooltip incorrectly says it grants 0 hatred against heroes (this is also on live patch). Fire at Will itself functions correctly

  • Hot Pursuit (level 7) tooltip incorrectly lists movement speed per stack of hatred as 1%. Hot Pursuit itself functions correctly

Gul’Dan:

  • Pursuit of Flame (level 1) tooltip does not mention that Gul’Dan no longer loses stacks upon quest completion

  • Echoed Corruption (level 1) 60 stack reward only applies on the cast of E that gains the 60 stack reward, then no longer applies for any casts after.

  • Echoed Corruption stops stacking at 60 stacks, making the pinnacle reward unobtainable outside of Try Mode or Sandbox

  • Hunger for Power (level 7) - unsure if it’s supposed to reduce Gul’Dan’s self-healing? It currently does not, except for the newly introduced self-healing from Echoed Corruption

  • Ruinous Affliction (level 16) does not heal Gul’Dan for 50% of the bonus damage dealt when the pinnacle reward for Echoed Corruption is completed; unsure if this is intended or not

Zul’Jin:

  • Baseline quest is still capped at 250 bonus damage. It is only possible to go further using “Complete Quests” in Try Mode

  • When Zul’Jin dies and loses any number of baseline quest stacks, the generic “Veteran Marksman” talent icon is displayed next to his hero portrait in the death notification

  • Berserker tooltip, when toggled on, has a double space between the words, “stack on”

  • Headhunter (level 1) tooltip and buff bar progress not updated from 2% > 2.5% as written in PTR notes(PARTIALLY FIXED): tooltip is updated, quest progress tracker in the buff bar still reads as 2%

  • Headhunter damage bonus per hero kill appears to be slightly larger than 2.5%

  • If Zul’Jin dies after reaching the 30 stack milestone and drops below 30 stacks, the second revolution of twin cleave will occur while missing the visual effect until Zul’Jin reaches 30 stacks again.

  • If Zul’Jin dies with less than 3 full stacks (15 aa’s on the counter), the stack loss on death will round down to the highest full stack count. I.e. Zul’Jin has 12 aa’s on the counter and dies, he will be left with 2 aa’s instead of 0.

Zagara:

  • Hydralisk tooltip says it deals 0 damage; actual damage dealt by Hydralisk is working as intended

Uther:

  • Hand of Freedom (level 7) tooltip incorrectly says basic attacks grant 0 seconds of cdr. Talent actually functions normally (this is also on live patch)

Maps/other:

  • Fallback tower not present on Towers of Doom or on Sandbox versions of Volskaya Foundry or Cursed Hollow

  • Fallback towers are keep towers instead of fort towers (unsure if this is intended, if not it means they deal more damage and have more health than intended)

  • Alterac Pass objective capture timer reduced by 5 seconds for each phase (PTR notes stated only “early capture time” was reduced)
