It isn’t the development team, so, uh. Who is it? The Overwatch team? The Starcraft 2 team? The Classic games team?
Cost is not a factor here, getting stomped over and over seems like a really boring and ineffective way to “learn”, but to each their own, I guess.

Seriously, it’s a game of 5v5. A contest of skills. If they win and you lose, it’s because theirs is better than yours. How hard is that to understand?
Let me put this simply. An AMA may be a good auxiliary source who care especially much about the game, which, spoiler alert, isn’t me. I’ve already ignored your first “did you even read the AMA”, said as if it’s a legit source that every player goes through. So, unless by some miracle, the devs decide to counter my argument directly, which they probably haven’t, as you yourself didn’t bring it up, having read that wall of text, stop bringing it up.
Why are you so adamant about skill imbalance being a learning experience? You’re just repeating the same thing over and over, you may very well just be an outlier that takes severe failure as a learning opportunity.
just had a qm sh*t show game where I was playing leroic and had a team of squishies kt, li ming, ect. vs a val with +2 lvls. In between crying about val, dying in the middle of the map over nothing, he complained about me doing some thing silly like soaking a lane. The best part was his “go play ai if you want to farm” comment.
Then what else could it be? You can only learn and improve from facing those that are better than you. Why don’t you try looking back at what you did wrong and they did right? That’s learning.
Same as you. Repeating again and again that you lose because of facing better opponents. Well, instead of that, how about you improve yourself to beat them next time? That’s what winners would do.
I’m pretty sure the AMA is going you provide you more valid info than posting on these forums. If you are willing to rant/post here, you should be willing to at least consider what is in the AMA. This is not a large leap of faith…

HOTS Doesn’t match you with similar players of skill. Why do you ask? When I have 50-76% win rates depending on the type of game I play, and then get teamed with people in the high 20%'s - 30% win rates … so ya that’s not true at all.
OH, also I love when those same players are the ones who are the banner. Fun times.
Like, I get if your argument is that it’s good to have of a challenge, but that’s not the case, because the levels are vastly different. Also, that’s barely relevant, as I’m talking about the level difference across both teams, I didn’t say anything about losing. The point is, I don’t like how I have to carry my team, or have my team not know what the objective is, but still win because the enemy is worse. Same goes for the other way around, it’s not fun stomping on bad players, or have someone from the enemy team stomp on my teammates.
The thing is, as a casual player, I didn’t even know about it, because once again, 3rd party source, can’t go through them all, if any. Had I known, and known that it would cover relevant topics, I would’ve.

Here’s a tip: if you have such confidence in your “balancing” skill, how about you make your own “masterpiece” of a game. There you can fix and change anything to eliminate those “unfairness” and create a perfectly “balanced” environment. Where everyone participates in it are rightfully asserted of their skill. Wouldn’t be that hard for such an all knowing talent like you right?
Go make a name for yourself and drive every other moba out of the market. Show them how it should be done.

I understand what ur saying but all I can say is every game can be a win or a loss depending on how 1 player decides to play. For example, I just played a UR game and the BANNER has 0 UR games played and a low WR in other play types. Im 50.7% in UR on this acct cause I play solo on this most of the time. Based off the WR %'s of my team I thought we were for sure gonna lose. I didn’t say anything all game but tried to assist my team the best I could. We ended up WRECKING the other team.
All I can say is this game is terrible with match making. You would think someone who has player lvl 1000+ would have some kind of sense as to how to play this game but that isn’t even close to the case most of the time.
Try to have fun to the best of your ability and don’t get as mad as I do when it comes to the TRASH report system that wont ever get fixed.
