Hogger was in WoW from the very beginning, so long before Hearthstone. May as well call Anduin a Hearthstone hero!

He’s the iconic first-ever challenge for Alliance players. Not the biggest or baddest character out there, but iconic nonetheless.

Pretty much anyone who leveled a toon from scratch knows him too well. Even if you didn’t encounter him as a world boss on Alliance, he is a dungeon boss for both factions. He has routinely been a requested hero for HotS.

Eh, the point is more that sure, people know the characters in the games they play, and not necessarily from others, but to avoid using your personal experience to make assumptions.

Strangely enough, Dehaka was my first main in HotS, and my original avatar on the old forums. Then I got addicted to godswaps.

We consider godsswaps in Hots as photon rush in sc2, so far it’s interesting.

Also… interestingly, my first mains were Zeratul and Dehaka, and as a zerg player… well, you see.

My most played co-op commander is Dehaka. Mostly because my APM is abysmal, so I can just cruise around the map as him, and summon pack leaders and stuff if things get hairy. My micro is garbage.

Dehaka is def one of my favs in coop. Most time i forget about army and just go full Dehaka.
Sometimes add guardians + mutalisks.
Tho… i also love Fenix (talandar), Mengsk, Zeratul (kinda boring after 1-2 matches), Vorazun, Abathur.

First, we had gnolls as creeps in Warcraft III, then we had Hogger, who is a dungeon boss in World of Warcraft. Also there is a quest called “WANTED Hogger” where you must kill/capture him. He is also present in Hearthstone, as a boss in the tutorial, where you must beat him, and also as a playable card.
