I played 5 games with KT last night and every game I had one angry jerk on my team who would rip on me the whole time. I wasnt even that bad, though I have since adjusted my build and things are much better.
Anyway, I join my last game last night and the healer I spawned with told the whole team about how useless I was and then proceeded to just keep dying over and over again. So I alt-f4ed and went to bed. And now I wake up in “leavers queue”.
How toxic is the design of this game?
Alt+f4ing is toxic and immature. No one wants to play with ppl like that, hence the system that filters out the bad apples.
Enjoy your leaver queue, hope you can reconsider leaving your allies in the future.
(Sidenote: you recently had to go afk in 2 matches where you also got reported to get into leaver queue.)

Sorry, but no one wants to play with jerks either. It isn’t toxic or immature to exit the game instead of having to endure toxic teammates.
Should he be surprised that he was given leaver status? No, but no one should have to go through that verbal abuse and then be called toxic and immature for doing something about it.
I feel no pity for toxic people who have to play handicapped because they bullied someone to the point they wanted to leave the game, and did. If they didn’t want that, they should have been nicer teammates.

If it was a 4men premade bullying the 5th you might have a point.
But from 4 allies only one was toxic and the same 1 tried to sabotage the game. Based on the @Op’s post.
If someone is toxic in chat, you can report them and the game blocks their chat for you.
So it’s easy to end the bullying in which case, one can wonder, why wouldn’t it be immature to run away and abandon 3 innocent allies?
It’s incredibly “not a mature act” to punish a whole group because of one single individual.
It’s also not mature to be unable to handle the harsh online world.
Alt+f4-ing is raging out of a team game, which is immature.
And toxic, because you think only of yourself, ruining others’ time because you feel yours ruined by someone so why should you care? Which is immature.

Its not raging. If you want raging go watch tyler1 or dr disrespect rages. Its an act of course but that’s what real raging is. Simply not wanting to waste time with toxic people on the internet so closing the game to free yourself from that is what any smart person would do. You could report as many times as you want but if each match its someone new what are you supposed to do then?
I’d just turn the game off if I played multiple games and each game people told me crap. Just because its not something you would do, doesn’t mean its toxic and immature. Calling someone toxic for turning off a game is actually just as toxic and immature as you’re claiming them to be.
And thats why we got a mute button but I guess people forgot about that one. Letting 5 jerks get into your nerves for 5 games straight. Why not used the tools instead of keep listening to the jerk ? 5 times in a raw even.

I’ve been saying this for months but somehow now you guys realize it. Someone literally left the forum because I told them to use the tools given to them.
Either way, I don’t see how exiting a game is immature or toxic. No one sees how I do I guess.
I struggle to believe that someone played 5+ games and got “abused” in every single one of them, unless there is something really toxic that the OP was doing himself. Appears that the “abuse” came from different, independent individuals too.
I call BS on that one, you must’ve done something rather bad that you aren’t telling or at least not realising.

- Adults should be mature and be able to handle the harsh reality.
- That doesn’t mean those who were toxic in chat should be left unpunished, and unreported.
- This is a pg13 game, there are kids in it, I do not expect kids to be as mature as many adults aren’t.

Plus again, I already covered this multiple times, but 1 baddie/match leaves 3 innocent/match behind. Don’t be egocentrical. Think about them.
“Man up”. Play it through. Maybe be responsible and stop earlier than the 5th if it gets under your skin.

Even if the match has a jerk, leaving just makes it ~100% impossible for the remaining 3 players to win vs 5 non bots.
Why make your teammates suffer even more than is necessary? I would fully understand leaving if this was a 1v1 game and the opponent got toxic (and the game allowed chat tools for that). But it’s a team game.
A 4v5 still has a 5% or higher chance of victory. Trying to play with two bots is hopeless.
(Exceptions: I would not mind if someone left an AI or Brawl/aram simply out of boredom because these matches have nothing at stake, not even MMR like quick match. I would just shrug it off and move on)

He left 3 people after being bullied 5 times. 5 is more than 3 bud. If he really was that bad, wouldn’t an AI be better anyway… to some it would actually help them win. Who knows if its actually a disadvantage. It depends. We don’t know, or will ever know.
I usually mute people after they piss me off or say stupid crap, but I want to believe the best in people. Its not a bad assumption to believe he didn’t mute right at the start. If his teammates weren’t toxic… there’s no reason to report, no reason to mute chat, and also no reason to leave… so which sounds better to you?
I think the fact he went though 4 previous matches proves he isn’t as immature as you say he is. Some it just takes 1 match to throw a fit and ruin the match by feeding or whatever. Giving someone an AI isn’t as bad as feeding or inting. You just want to ridicule anyone who does anything that doesn’t align with your ideals, even when there’s reason for it.
Wouldn’t a mature person mute instead of report? I mean what’s so mature about ruining someone’s account when you can also mute anyone who says stupid stuff? We all know the report/ban system is trash and people who report abuse it… that’s more immature than leaving a match in my opinion.

No one has to. No one is forced to. If someone’s done with it, for whatever reason they don’t have to play through it. Its not immature to exit something as toxic as a game in hots, a game which in reality doesn’t really matter at all.

Leaving a game in a 5 player team environment is “not toxic”? Just stop, this is silly.
There is always that special someone trying to prove that 2+2 doesn’t equal to 4. Don’t be that guy.
If you think that’s toxic, that’s your opinion. Doesn’t make it right. One should toughen up though
and not leave a match just because a few ppl were mean to them.
