It is still farking stupid to have people on the other side an entire gd leage above ANYONE on a team. Wtf do you expect to happen in these cases. You are just giving a free win, and a purposeful loss. This is why people rage against the matchmaker. Make them play up leagues for once.

I don’t think it’s an automatic win for the team with one player ranked much higher than other teammates. Do they have an advantage?
It depends on who the weakest link in the team is, maybe even more than having one high platinum among a team of low-mid golds.
Those games are very stressful for the high rank too, they need to carry the hardest they can to offset the skill difference. Especially if the enemy team is 5 players close to his MMR, while his own teammates are lower ranked than the opponent.

Who has a bigger potato? They usually lose.
I lost many games where I was highest rank, highest KDA, and finished the game with like 19 kills 0 deaths.
I begged team to push core. To take advantage when we won teamfights. They just retreated to go kill some siege camps.
Doesn’t mean much if you have several 1-14 feeders who don’t want to participate in objectives.
Loading screen ranks mean nothing. Especially if it’s just a 1 league difference.
I will never understand how when our team gets a partial wipe or even a complete wipe, the first thing my teamamtes do is retreat. It’s like, we have 5 of them dead for almost a minute, that should scream PUSH. But they all go back and hearth or take a camp on our side. By the time that camp gets anywhere down lane, their team will be back up and will kill it in 3 seconds.
At the very least, take camps on the enemy side so we can then go back for ours and get all of them.
But, yeah, I’ve had so many games lost where we had a huge lead but no one wants to hit the core. They keep thinking camps will do the work for them. smh
Wait you mean a gold player should not be matched against a diamond player? Surely this would never happen.
We all know blizzards matchmaking is 100% perfect and would never be abused by players making smurf accounts to boost there buddies by abusing the mmr.
