Kyle - from Blackthorne as a next hero?

Wouldn’t it be cool to get Kyle as a hero?
AA - shotgun
Q - Avoid damage, on a short cooldown and short duration like a skill shot. Would require perfect timing to get benefit.
W - Dropping rolling bombs, AoE damage on structures bonus dmg
E - ‘If only…’ Bribe for mercs Long cooldown but stacks, 60s / 2 stacks
Ult - Drone Control that can either explode or take objectives.
Ult2- ‘Laugh Harder’ can jump on and kill any enemy if their life is under 10% - or if above do 5s stun but no dmg.
Trait - ‘Feeling Bad for Slaves’ killing minions would reduce healing rate but Increase AA dmg - He would not soak much

I would love Blackthorne to come to the Nexus. I was thinking his “Dodge” could would like dehaka’s burrow, but for like a half second and grants stealth for 2 seconds.

I think a homing bomb would be a great ult.

But yeah, it’d be awesome to see something from this game in the Nexus.

I think they should, he’s one of the few classic heroes they could add.

I’ve been seeing this game mentioned when new heroes are concerned, but I don’t exactly know what it is. Can anyone fill me in rq?

Also, “Laugh Harder”, what a name, immediately I’m interested

Blackthorne is a Blizzard platform puzzler kind of like TLV, except you have a shotgun and bombs. And free slaves, which is always a win.

It’s from 94, biggest on SNES and DOS (where I played it) I think. I’d link the wikipedia, but you can’t link on these forums.

Cool Game, Cool World, would be nice to see in the Nexus.

Fun Fact

Blizz used to be called “Sillicon and Synapse”, and changed their name to “Chaos Studios”, but didn’t publish any games under that name, and then they changed again to “Blizzard Entertainment”.

That was just before '94, when they published Blackthorne and then Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.

So, in a way, Blackthorne is the first game ever published by Blizzard Entertainment :stuck_out_tongue:

As an aside, you can go to the Blizzard Shop and download Blackthorne for free, and it actually works on modern systems! (I think… I played that version on Win 8, IDK if it works on Win 10)

I was gonna put a link to this^ but I couldn’t find it with a quick google search :confused: I got it in the profile place where you can opt in for beta tests and stuff, if anyone is interested.
