I really like this hero but i really don’t get why people keep use him with damage build… Maybe because if you google it the first result is from icyveins? and it show only two horrible builds?
Because iron fist is the strongest lvl 1
You pick kharazim so you can dive together upon one target and burst them down
If you pick insight or transendence, its not bad but you can also pick any other healer
You have to allow yourself to see beyond the word “Healer” and understand that some heroes can play a unique role in a game once you learn how they actually work. I, personally, would view Kharazhim more as a sort of “support” but one that is a bit outside the traditional sense. Khara excels in supporting his team by being able to add amazing burst on a target as well as providing mobility and some healing. It is a great example of the complex design of the hero, but if you are too hung up on the idea that a healer must only be healing, you arent performing at your maximum potential.
I disagree, but don’t mind your take. Have fun!
I fail to see how this has any relation to the title of this thread?
Tldr he won to valeera in a quickmatch using insight
Theres a disconnect between the thread title and the post itself. The carpet doesnt match the drapes lol.
I will forever pick radiant dash talents with Iron Fists and Way of a Hundred Fists for maximum damage burst. So much fun
Is the only way to play him. At least for me.
Regardless of lvl 1 option; the 16 is always locked for me. Heck, he doesn’t feel fun until lvl 16.
I’ve seen some people use it with the lvl 20 that gives you the other two level 1 talents at 50% effect and it’s kinda crazy how much more sustain it gives you
Not sure how good it is though I usually take epiphany just for the dash resets
A lot of people don’t seem to grasp the potential of transcendence. In my opinion it IS the damage talent, not Iron fists. Why you ask? Because transcendence let’s you stay in longer and spar with people longer. You’ll get more damage in the longrun compared to Ironfists where you need to back off constantly because you’re too low. It’s incredibly strong with Blazing fists on 7.
Transcendence also allows you to solo merc camps including boss easier than any other healer in the game. Iron fists kharazim stand no chance against a bruiser camp or the boss.
It’s just the most versatile level 1 talent for him.
I guess if you have a frontline heavy team then longevity in a fight could help on certain maps and certain instances, but Transcendence with Blazing Fists is just kooky town to me.
If you choose those talents in order to solo camps, then there’s a good chance you will be in the wrong place at the wrong time throughout the game. And as for soloing boss, you’d have to be very very careful about your timing in order to not give the enemy team enough time to realize you are missing and invade. Khara might punch fast and punch a lot, but he still doesnt belt out enough damage to solo a boss very quickly.
You’d never know Kharazim was OP if all you play is QM. Heck, you might not even realize he’s a healer! Gotta remind myself to hate the player not the game.
Tangent but I remember queuing as Khara in qm and being matched against Arthas, Artanis, and Brightwing… I literally could not go in and provide anything for the team
One of the worst matches in recent memory
I just don’t see how anyone can not go Blazing Fists at 7. It just seems way too strong to pass up.
People just like taking the extra dash so they can do more super-cool way of the hundred fist combos as 16, but if that’s the plan I feel like you’re sacrificing a lot of value early for a payoff late.
Could go the Breath of Heaven build, get decent healing numbers
I did out of sheer panic but it didn’t really do much to alleviate the lack of anything else I could provide unfortunately
lvl 1 insight - no mana problem and excellent cd reduction after quest is done
lvl 4 depend enemy comp - spirit ally for more sustained heal - heart ally for strong aa heroes - Air ally for stealth, nova and samuro can’t play the 3 cards game if you spot the jolly
lvl 7 heavenly zeal to increas the heal in heavy teamfight but depend also on the enemy comp, i don’t dislike to have another charge of radiant dash
lvl 10 PALM if properly used its just OP
lvl 13 quick silver - you have no idea how many times it helped my allied to dodge aoe skills but if my team is already very good on it i think to my self and pick the other two talents depending on enemy team
lvl 16 echo of heaven - combined with insight at lvl 1 the cd reduction it give you an insane amount of heal
lvl 20 fist of legend but if the enemy team have a lot of cc i go for storm shield
strictly worse than Transcendance and Iron Fists if you have trouble landing basic attacks in the first place like chi couldn’t.
Spirit Ally is complete garbage and I’m tired of seeing it. Air Ally will heal for more in the Breath Build and boost a ton of damage, while 50 Physical Armor is broken.
Storm Shield or Ephipany are the only good choices here. The 11-sided Strike is decent too if you went that build.
It’s only strong until you realize that you’ve spent 1/3rd the game travelling to or from the fountain or wells, time you would have been in the action and contributing if you just took Transcendence instead. If you can mitigate this with your ally picks, great but that’s a team effort and is highly circumstantial.
Transcendence can be good for healing allies…but it’s primary focus is to give Kharazim sustain. Personally I think he’s not op but he’s also highly misunderstood. He’s basically sustain genji that sacrifices some mobility for sick self heals that might happen to heal your allies too.
