From what I understand Trancendence supplements healing and lets you take camps solo super early on, I assume it’s better against burst damage
Insight is for long teamfights because you’ll be activating your abilities a lot more and getting a lot more value out of them.
Yes maybe I need to be more specific here.
I take Transcendence for self sustain and for higher frequency of heals even though they are small. This high frequency mini heal is great against teams that rely on sustained AA damage or even against bursty teams because this heal goes specifically to the lowest health target. It is more timely as you don’t have to wait for 3 to 6 seconds for the next Breath of Heaven. Little heals at high frequency can be life saving on heated team fights as opposed to reduced cd Breath of Heaven which will still happen on less frequency.
I take Insight when enemy has a lot of heroes that deal poison damage over time. For instance if I play against a Lunara and Guldan and Nazeebo I go Insight because I need big heals more frequent to make up for their huge over time damage.
As per changes I think the remake made Kharazim one of the most if not the most balanced hero with every single talent viable.
You should never really take camps solo with transcendence. You CAN, because it’s easy, but it’s not time efficient and you risk putting your allies in danger when your main role is to heal.
Transcendence, I look more at as an off-tanking role. It allows you to be in the front line and absorb a lot of damage because you’re often just healing it right back up. I wouldn’t even really look at it in terms of burst, your best anti burst tool is palm.
If Kharazim has a beard why doesnt he grow hair?
what is the best Kharazim skin, and worst?
Can you show us a pictor in late 2019 or 2020 that you are a master or diamond. Because heroesprofile says gold.
I know I hate heroesprofile but they are usually 1 league away
Thanks man, I’ve always wanted someone with a lot of experience on Kharazim in relevant ranks to go over their thoughts on the level 1 talents. I couldn’t ever justify picking anything but IF, but knew that the other builds had opportunities that I just wasn’t able to figure out when I thought about it outside of really blurry, overlap-heavy circumstances where I still couldn’t justify picking Kharazim over another healer outside of IF. I found this really helpful and I’ll give your advice a shot while playing him later.
bald, bearded men are an archetype. In middle school I built my MapleStory demigod in that fashion (actually I just copied my friend’s style to the letter and turned myself into his twin. Remember the Med and the Poog.)
What would be the first thing you would do when you arrive in outer space?

I’ve been playing a ton of Kharazim lately, and actually turning into quite the fan. Then I come across this thread.
Well, I was going to ask about Transcendence, but you already hit the nail on the head. I was also going to ask what you thought about his talents, and that got answered too; glad I’m not the only one who thinks the Deadly Reach upgrade at 7 is wonderful (I even picked it before they combined it sometimes).
You know what? I’m going to give Transcendence another honest go. I usually pick between Iron Fist for “more damage” and Insight for “more Kharazim”, but with the latest buffs, I’ll take a crack.
Oh, er, a question:
Which character is your favorite partner to team with? Who’s the Rag to your Varian, the Abathur to your Illidan, the Medic to your Heavy?
Oh man I love to combo with a good Abathur as Khara. I love comboing with Johanna as Khara because she can give me much needed protection from enemy hard CC and allows me to keep punching when she draws all her enemies with her W. Johanna and Khara are an absolute unit of a combo. Diablo and Khara are great too
Kharazims that can palm are a rare breed
I played some Kharazim and ended up going Transcendance vs. an Artanis + Stitches frontline, it was an easy choice to take the Deady Reach 7, and wow… an easy 150k healing that game. So easy to trade that way with that kind of frontline. Normally the choice at 7 for me is clearly the extra Q, alternatively in one of the games I played I also opted for the W 7 versus a Hanzo/Nova so I could keep our Li Ming easily topped off and it would easily synergize with the cleanse at 16.
The question I have is, when you’re picking Insight or Transcendence, where do you draw the line between picking those two talents and picking a different healer entirely who provides CC/damage and can also heal AoE really well? Malfurion, Stukov, Lucio can all deal well with the kind of damage that would necessitate picking Insight. What makes you consider Insight Kharazim at those times? Malf and Stukov are presently my #1+2 healers, with Whitemane / Deckard / Uther closely behind.
Oh yeah, always go with Kharazim as a healer vs Tanks with no hard CC. He will have crazy healing numbers, and do a lot of damage too.
I answered that question to some poster above. But basically TLDR I pick Transcendence for the high frequency heals against mainly sustained damage teams, and Insight against mainly vs teams with high poison over time sustain damage.
But then how do you decide to play Kharazim with those talents instead of other healers? Just when they don’t have any hard cc?
Draft is about balance. If my team has enough hard CC I pick Kharazim simple. And Kharazim’s value is even more evident late game. Many times I turn a losing battle into a winning one with just one palm. In average I can connect 3-5 palms in a close game. That alone is a huge value.
Will you play another character?
For sure I play many
