skins (gold xenotech abathur, smoldering desert queen zagara), colors, mounts(the crabs), etc , i mean they still want our money or ENGAGEMENT right? so why not do that? unlock all content and let anyone get it be it paying or grinding, also release again the last working version of the haunted mines map and BRAWL (as a separate mode from one lane mode they reworked some of the brawls into) just release the rest into a brawl tab and that’s it, is not like they have fixed everything else in the game, or that horrible maps doesn’t exit anymore(towers of doom) right?
hell in all this time they haven’t really fixed the match making, so who cares if BRAWL and haunted mines don’t work properly

would be cool to have all of those fun/unique modes back, who remembers stitches pool? or escape from braxis and all those.
All skins, all maps including haunted mines.
This would be the IDEAL real LAST patch imo.

I want all the Brawls back.
The bugged, unbalanced stuff is never coming back, but time limited stuff in the collection should have been activated again, just like seasonal stuff was made available.

You right, but for example they said they couldn’t keep the old brawls because with every update, they needed to update them as well, and that was when we had a balance patch every month basically.
If we are hardly getting any balance patches now, maybe they could at least update the old brawls and make them available again? Even if only in custom gamemodes, people would already be happy.

Believe me when I say I get it. I do wonder though if it would be too costly simply to add all the currently unavailable cosmetics to the in store shop? I’ll be first to admit I have no idea how much time or manpower that would take, but it seems small compared to adding back Brawls for example.
I mean they did add the Spectral Butcher skin in this last patch, so perhaps adding cosmetics to the shop doesn’t require a great deal of work.

I’m also planning to make a thread asking for all the cosmetics that were already released or maybe finished but unreleased (like a twitch reward purple elemental/crystal lion) to be added to the Shop.

I love this suggestion. It would also been nice if they released some of the skins and mounts that the AI currently only has access too.

This is a good idea. If they’re worried about the development time, just make the skins gem-only.
I can’t say how many times over the years since 2.0 I’ve wanted to further support this game monetarily and found literally nothing I could buy that I couldn’t just unlock by playing. Once you have a boost, there’s nothing else. Further development may be over, but at least selling those skins could help keep the lights on.

But what is there to update?
They removed and didn’t readd them because “they need to keep them up to date with every patch”. How many patches ago were them removed? Like if they were not readded specifically because they need patching (updates), then what do you think needs updating about Brawls?

Well, heroes will be the same reguarldess of the map. And it would be really stupid if something like xp globes can’t be done as a blanket change once and apply to every map. (Though some brawls didn’t have xp).
I’m not clear as to what needed to be changed even when they were around…

ok, forget about brawl and maps
BUT HERO SKINS do not need any changes, i mean i have played matches as recent as yesterday with people with skins and mounts not available, limited time, whatever, , including that animatronic bear thingy mephisto, and before that someone on a constellation crab mount, and not all limited skins are completely new , just recolors
everything in the skins category still available for anyone who purchased them, so all im asking is for blizzard to make them available for purchase to everyone else

I see no reason why wouldn’t the be able to bring back Pool Party, Dodge Brawl or the rocket race. They had custom rulesets and would’ve been unaffected by balance changes
