Is there a way to gift items

Is there a way to gift my items to someone? I’m never playing this game again and I would feel better if someone took my items off my hands. And if so, I have 15,600 gold, 140 shards, and 775 gems. I also have many skins and heroes that I have that I want to gift to someone.

You can’t, and that’s probably for the better so farmers can’t accumulate ingame currency like gold and shards then sell them to people. That would greatly attract bots and farmers to the game.

Though you could gift battle.net balance to your friend. Not sure if that can be used for in-client purchases.

There are some rare item codes on Ebay from the HotS starter pack that can be gifted though.
They contain stuff like the golden tiger code, codes for unlocking some heroes and skins or portraits.

If this game would have cosmetics that are only obtainable by money I would like your idea, but in Hots you can achieve anything with ingame currencys, so it doesn’t make sense for the gift option sadly.

AltRightFrog basically said why it’s good how it is.

I did a search and some of the starter packs are as cheap as $6 US. I suggest people look around as the same bundles can be as much as $30, don’t pay that.

No, being able to buy stuff for someone else would make sense. but that either.

But you can always just give your account.

But you’d have to give away your Battle.net account, not just the HotS part of it, so that wouldn’t work if you´re “never going to play this game again”, but you are going to play other Blizzard games.

But yeah, I think there should be an option to gift things, even if it has to be bought directly from the Blizzard store with money, and not the in-game shop with gems/gold/shards (so as not to make it exploitable by farming/smurfing)

I can’t give this account away since I have my Overwatch and WoW on this account, if I didn’t I would gladly given it away.

You are technically not allowed to give away accounts anyway. They are meant to be used by only the individual who created them.

Well, you never know. You might play it again in a year or two.

Most likely not unless I find someone to play HOTS with because I hate playing multiplayer games solo, especially being a healer. I played 10 games of HOTS Quick Match, I was disappointed with how people gave up when losing in a game.

It’s more fun to play healer in unranked or Storm league. People actually let you heal them.
