Is it possible to get boost from chest?

I haven’t seen 1-3 days boosts for a long time inside my loot boxes. Are they still here?
This “surprise mechanic” without a chance to get a boost doesn’t look so yummy tbh :unamused:

Got a 24h boost recently. Haven’t had 3’s in ages though.

I haven’t got a boost for possibly more than a year now. Thought they removed it from the chests.

I believe either the chances are very low or there’s some kind of a mechanic like if you haven’t logged in in a while you have increased chances to get one

I get boosts kinda frequently. I think varaq is right that there are increases chances of you haven’t played in a while. I take breaks for a couple of months, and then when I come back get the boosts

They are. Boost is the most valuable thing you can open, Blizz knows this, so they want to make it rare.

Also imagine how many common and rare items are there to get one exact you want from them.

1 day boost I have gotten once or twice. 3 day boost? I haven’t seen that since like 2018.

IIRC, you can get up to 7 days, epic quality, equivalent to the 400 gems price in the store itself.

I saw 1 Epic boost when I opened my 2.0 Release chests. Given the rarity of Epics as a roll and the amount of Epic drops, getting one seems like lower chance than getting two random Legendary drops in a single normal chest. They probably don’t even have to modify the chance of getting a boost (compared to something else of the same rarity) for it to be a very rare occurence.

i’ve gotten a few 24 hours boots the last few weekends, but they’d show at the end of my play session so i didn’t get much benefit >.<

You can Alt+f4 in case of getting boost from chest, to save it for the next time

I think the only assured boosts are the ones you get when you first start playing on the account, the usual ‘give em a leg up to get them hooked’ sorta thing that you get with F2P games. After that point, yeah, they are pretty rare things. I think I only got two or three boosts in chests over the past year.

That said, the past two years, they’ve reduced the cost of the full-year boost around Thanksgiving from a full $100 or so down to $60. Not a huge drop, but if you like the game enough and you have the cash, it’s a good way to just make it a non-issue for the year.

I remember in past they were more common thing, now I don’t see them.
1 year boost seems interesting, but i can afford only 1 month one so far

3 days are about as rare, if not rarer, than legendaries and come in blue chests. 1 days come in whites.

It still exists had a 1 day one just before DW release.

I usually don’t get any at all. Then when I get one, I open 4 more in boxes.

It’s all or nothing.

Funnily enough I only seem to see them when I have an active boost running (save gems until one month boost, rinse and repeat) and just assume because they are the ‘most valuable’ and in an ever larger pool they just don’t come up as often.

Yep! I got one a couple weeks ago out of a box and was pleasantly surprised. Of course, I didn’t get to do much with it but it was nice
