I'm tired of this snowballing BS in QP

Last 8 games today, I wrote it down. I am tried of a clear winner in QP. It’s either my team or their team that just plows through us or we plow through them.

IT’S NOT FUN!

My games
Won 5, lost 3
1 - Won - All our towers were up
2 - Won - 1 tower of ours was down
3 - Lost - All their towers were up
4 - Won - 3 towers of ours was down (nice change, that was the most ‘balanced’ match)
5 - Lost - All their towers were up
6 - Won - All our towers were up
7 - Won - 2 towers of ours was down
8 - Lost - Towers, 0 - 28!!!

There’s a trend, its rare for me to have a game were both teams are somewhat even in defeating each other.

QM Matchmaking has been a top 5 topic for years. And it will continue to be so until HOTS figures out a way to implement both Team Based MMR rewards and Individual Based MMR rewards. People who can’t play well as an individual nor as a team member will drop to the bottom and others will get a chance to play with people who actually are mediocre or better at both.

QM team comps are interesting.

They are bad. Really bad.

They are so bad,s o often, that you’d almost think it was intentional.

Sometimes it feels like matchmaking is doing it’s darnest to create as uneven match as possible.

Yes, most people have no idea what to do when playing from behind. Not to mention that there is most likely a reason why a team is behind in the first place.

By trying to force something to happen, fighting talents down or going for a risky boss for example they are trying to come back instantly - but usually it just throws the game.

tl’dr: Most people have no idea how to play from behind.

lol its not even qm alone the whole game is in a broken state. balanced games are less common than Obelisk the Tormentor in yugioh anime series

I do agree with your comment, but keep your weebo comments out of HOTS.

Disagree, i had multiple come backs were we like 4 hp left on ToD and the enemy was 28 and we turned this around with only 1 health left for us.

I had games were one simple team fight forced us to push a keep and immediatly core when we had no keeps at all.

I’m not getting a lot of that snowball experience you experiencing.

I’ve played QM for a bit, and the amount of game knowledge absent is crazy. This is not an issue with the mode, it is an issue with the casual playerbase that does not wish to improve.

Play HL if you’re looking for balanced matchmaking and less snowballing games.
QM is supposed to be a gamble by nature. I don’t understand why people still make a big deal of QM. Ranked is actually the best matchmaker experience and is a lot of fun 8 out of 10 games.

Thats QP QM or Quick Match bud. They are doing their best to put people in a game for it to be quick, with no draft. Try a different game mode its better than a game mode of people just testing out heroes, where typically u don’t get a healer, or a tank, one team does get a tank and you get yrel, who isnt a tank.

You get a team of specialist vs a team of assassins, or a poke team vs a team that can’t team fight.

QM is to practice heroes in a live action scenario.
Nothing about wining.
You want to get better balance? Try UR/HL/TL.

Yup

Have to say this is my experience as well

I am tired of the double standards. I made a post saying She does way to much dmg and her free mech is “2nd letter of alphabet and 19th letter of alphabet” (Like I typed the initials, not the word) and it got mod attention and said I was breaking the CoC – yet this guy makes a post with “BS” in the title and its just fine.

GOTTA LOVE DOUBLE STANDARDS.

Again, lost 4 of my last 4 games…

other team: 2 games with ALL towers up, 2 games with 1 tower down!

Do I need to provide screenshots?

Why is snowballing such a trend. Seriously… its rare for me to have a nice even match. Even if there’s 3 towers down…

Like I go on a damn winning streak with the same hero… and all of a sudden the game wants me to lose cause of that damn 50 50 win/lose balance

I don’t see the appeal of QM to anyone except those who are desperate to get a game fast and or love pain. You have no clue what you are running your pick into, can’t counter anything on the other team, rarely get proper team comps.

If I’m not playing with my team or playing ranked I’m playing unranked, QM just teaches you worse habits than any of the other modes.

The problem is the players not the game. Games “snowball” because when you lose the first objective half the team gives up and start spending most of their time blaming anyone they can and fighting in chat.
