I’m super excited and happy that we just received the new patch yesterday evening! I specifically enjoy the Kerrigan and Auriel changes. Though as a day one Diablo and Diablo 2 player (summer of 2000), I strongly disagree with another unwarranted and unpopular Cassia nerf.
Cassia is supposed to be overwhelmingly beautiful and greatly powerful! She should be a little on the OP side after all. Supposedly she single-handily freed and saved Deckard Cain’s life and then took down big bad Diablo! Show a little respect to Cassia’s name! It seems like she’s been nerfed numerous times in recent memory. Yeah, her win rate may be slightly high but it’s supposed to be!
At any rate, I’m very pleased with Heroes of the Storm right now. I currently have 7,005 gems at the moment so I’m good for now. But I’ll definitely spend a lot more money for gems during the next event. Which is why I’m asking about the next event. When can we expect it? February, March or April?
Thank you to everybody for making this the greatest MOBA out there. All the players and especially the Devs. If the Devs can just give us a little tease very soon about the next in-game event that would be sensational and satisfying to me! That’s all I’m asking for.

Weird patch. But ok, at least they buffed unpopular talents + nerfed some OP ones.

I think there won’t be a Winter event. Since I doubt we’ll see anything before Blizzconline and it comes basically with the end of Winter.
I hope it’s just a weird pause due to the pandemic and with Spring everythin will be back to “normal”, when we get at least a few new skins each Season.

I wouldn’t mind if there’s no event at all so long as Baal: The Lord of Destruction is currently being worked on. Baal should be the next new hero released into the Nexus. On the 20-year anniversary of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Which is quickly approaching on June 27, 2021. Nearly five months away. Hopefully the Devs are working on something rather large for this summer! I trust this downtime isn’t going to waste.

Yeah, they will probably / hopefully reveal the next hero and/or the spring event at Blizzconline.
Can’t deny, I find the lack of content worrisome. Pandemic or not, most Blizzard games put out some sort of christmas content, OW even very high quality as usual. If you’re a free to play title, having something to spend money on is a matter of life and death. I just dread that the Blizzcon news is, like HGC, discontinuing development due to not being fiscally profitable.

Purposely making/keeping a hero OP defeats the purpose of balance. You can’t balance characters around lore, or you end up with stuff like Injustice 1 Superman. If they did that. Kerrigan would need to have 20 000 health and deal 800% more damage.
Though I really would like an event too. It scares me that we don’t have anything, even news.
Still a bummer, since other games still have content, or have more content than before Covid.

And just when CCL gets started too. It would be horrible timing.
Announcements about discontinuing are more suited for small press releases full of excuses, or during a investors conference along layoffs, so if it happens it won’t be at Blizzcon.
I’m gonna keep my expectations low, that way I’ll be glad with little.

BlizzCon Online 2021 will take place on February 19th through the 20th? Is that correct guys? Any word on whether Heroes of the Storm will have their star-studded panel set up virtually? I’d love to see the Devs of this game speak to us directly during that event. Let us know what’s coming since they rarely post on the forums and are quiet on Twitter. I just don’t use Reddit a whole lot.
I’m super excited! This could be their one shining moment to announce their next major in-game event and new hero coming this summer: Baal, the Lord of Destruction. Heroes of the Storm did alright in 2020 under the tough circumstances we all faced with Covid-19. And honestly, Hogger has been pretty fun to play in the mean time.
One more thing: Where’s that pink motorcycle mount that we had for free and then the Devs took it away? I’ll gladly purchase it for gems, gold or shards if I see it in the shop. Any word on when it’s coming back? I quite simply love that mount with all my heart! I especially loved using it with Cassia and Kerrigan. I need my pink ride back.

Same, the changes to both Kerrigan and Auriel were unexpected but welcome.
I hope we get a new event soon too. As an aside, I just want to say how refreshing it is to see someone posting on the forums who is always so enthusiastic about the game and new content. I always like reading your posts.

I’m having a good time too. For curiosity’s sake, what server do you play on? If only just to keep an eye out for if we’re somehow matched up and I get to say hello.
Yes that’s correct.
I think by now players are more scared of it than excited to see it back lol. Like opening an ancient tomb and getting a pharaoh’s curse. But unfortunately no word of it yet.
