If Blizzard added a HOTS story expansion, would you buy it?

I certainly would. They have so many rich characters and the interactions and potential stories created would be insane. Just let’s get some solid lore behind the Nexus in a HOTS style.

I guess the one thing that hinders the idea is what the gameplay would be, but I say that’s where you really get creative (Have bosses, PvE). You can have options to do co-op or what not. Maybe have to fight a really buffed up dude.

Idk, I just think Blizzard has so much potential with this.

I wouldn’t personally be interested in a single-player campaign with this top-down type of game, I’ve played too much of that and personally am just a little bit bored with it. Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege 1 & 2, etc.

However, what I would extremely be interested in would be a co-op campaign featuring the heroes in HOTS, and they save your level experience based on how much you play them, so you can play with friends and randoms, and bring in your levelled heroes (and equipment) you’ve gained, to play with other people.

Just like RPG’s in Warcraft 3. I’ve wanted that to be a thing for so long…

For basically Dungeons & Dragons, featuring HOTS heroes, I would pay about $40 for.

Diablo2 or 3 is basically the pve version of HOTS with a little bit more focus on character development/story.

I would. I like the game and would support it if they chose to release content like that.

It had better have a more convoluted plot than Kingdom Hearts.

No, because it would be as bad as those comics they did.

A better thing would be an editor for user created campaigns, you can always count that someone will create a great story if they have the chance.

Yes i would.
I really would like a more comedic type campaign, a la Smash Bross, where we visit the normal universes and the alternatives as well like neo stormwind, the madmax one and the galactic empire, and at the end the nexus realms so we can interact with the realm lords.
It would be glorious.
You can mix maps with a “escape from braxis” model with regular ones (where you can play co-op or by yourself) when it make sense: “we have to defeat the raven lord in towers of doon” playing a game in that map agains a team with his 4 generals + guldan or alarak. Then next phase would be an “escape from braxis” layout where you have to invade the raven court and fight the raven lord as a boss, for example.
Man i realy should be made boss over that game. You guys would realy get a campaing worth playing haha

no. If the story was like the old tutorial I’d definitely be up for it. But the nexus story as is? Boring.

you’re asking whether I’d spend money on a game where most of the devs were fired or reassigned to other projects indefinitely? because the answer is a big, fat “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Looks like nobody played super smash bros brawl, his campain was amazing. Making a crossover doesn’t require high levels of writing, a good crossover must be kinda goofy and it must not taken seriously so i personally want to see Murky making trouble around the nexus. However certain grade of clever writing would be nice, imagine the reaction of Artanis meeting again with Tassadar and Zeratul, it will be heartwarming.

Essentially, the DOTA 2 co-op campaign. Blizz should do such a thing, that and add an arcade mode.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

The last thing a game with a small player pool needs is something to divide the pool EVEN MORE.

If you mean a campaign mode where I can play in a hots style while controlling my character like starcraft missions then yea, I’d actually buy it.

I mean the entire campaign for SC was something 60 dollars right? I’d buy that.

No I would not buy it. If the game was in a good place with a sufficient player base to support the current lineup of game modes, then I would consider it.

However, all of their attention needs to go into fixing both Ranked and Casual modes, seeing as both have considerable issues right now.
