I decided to work on a HOTS fanfiction I’ve been putting off, and I was hoping a few of you could lend some thoughts
So I’m just curious which characters you’d like to see, yes you guys know me neough to know Qhira is going to play a role, I want to spend some time telling a backstory and fleshing her out a bit but it’s not the only thing , I’ve got a plot planned that will culminate in a dark nexus confrontation and all that good stuff
So which characters would you most like to see represented and getting major roles on such a story?
For now my thought process has Anduin and Varian, Artanis and Tyrael but that’s not set in stone.
Since both Qhira and Orphea are “Nexus” heroes, perhaps something could come of that? Either way, my boo Cassia and my boo thaaaaaaaang Stukov should certainly be involved. <3
Orphea is going to play a role for sure, Her and Deckard are going to be the first to figure out what’s going on with the Dark Nexus return.
As for Cassia and Stukov, dully noted,

You know it’s worth noting that Qhira has some degree of respect for Ana

So with that in mind yeah Ana will definitely make an apperance, whether as ally or bounty to Qhira is still up in the air
Definitely noted, the old man in his qaint power armour is perfect for a scene in particular.
Alarak and Artanis
Lucio wil be fun but no blood relations to a nexus born hero.
For the Dark Nexus side, Dehaka, KTZ, and Mephisto would be fun to see. They are all interesting characters in their own right, and would seem to fit right in to a major conflict.
Dully noted, I’ll have to update myself a bit on Mephisto so I don’t do stupid with his character but definitely noted
Also had a feeling you’d appreciate the Artanis inclusion.
You’re not getting awya from the inclusion of the Wolf Spirit and his son but noted, Orphea seems more popular an inclusion then I expected.
If Qhira likes Crystal she can probably Interact with Probius, then a discovery of the protoss heroes… then yrel comes along and talks about glowing chandeliers
How about Abathur, Zagara, Dehaka, and Stukov. Kinda exploring their independence and characters as individuals unlike their SC2 hots counterpart who are in a constant state of servitude and compliance.
They could have one of those cliche philosophical lectures about life and hope that Qhira would keep in mind on her future adventures. It would also be nice to expand a bit of DN Tass and Fenix, before and after their transformation.
Also where would this be posted if the story is done? I would love to read it. <3
Exploring the zerg characters as agents in their own story would be a blast, definitely on the list of things to look at for sure.
Considering the backstory I have in mind for Qhira this is even more important then you might think, the HOpe and the Good of all living things would definitely be worth it

It would be interesting to have Li-Ming and Qhira interact with each other. For a start I’d like to see Ming’s honest reaction when Qhira remarks to her that her magic is “unsophisticated, but decent”…
Haha, you know now that I think about it would Ming know enough about martial combat to start yammering about how impractical a chain sword is realistically and call her out on that or would it be something else
