a mi me paso igual yo quede la pre temporada en bronce 3 ayer ya obtuve rango despues de las 3 partidas y apareci en bronce 5 jugue 4 partidas mas perdi la primera y mis puntos bajaron casi nada las siguientes 3 q fueron hoy las e ganado y casi no subo puntos entre las 3 e echo unos 50 puntos de rango, ayuda xfavor

Hello, i have the same issue. i just won 2 matches and i’ve only earned 26 points!! That’s not fair, also for the people i’ve been matched with. Winning that 2 matches has been very hard!

Point gain is different in Bronze 5, because Bronze 5 has much more players than Bronze 4-1 combined (since you cannot go under 0 points Bronze 5, and there is no limit to how low your MMR can go after that point).
Posting this multiple times doesn’t make you make you look better you know.

It’s not a bug, therefore a bug report about the issue is useless. It’s just how Bronze 5 works.
OMG next one… it just shows that blizz care absolutly none about their community… so many unanswered posts… and if they do… every post tell us a different story… you should go to shapeshifter… take one of the stones…

Who is “they”? The Lead Software Developer for HotS (Juno Kwak) who programs and develops the rank system, said the low point gain in Bronze 5 is not a bug.

They also said they are working to fix Mac visual errors making the game unplayable for 6+ months, and then they stopped posting completely. I don’t like it any more than you, but there is no need to go into insults.
They also promised several reworks (at least Nova and Tassadar) for 2 years now, and no comment at all. I don’t like it either but it is the company we have to deal with.
I am on the side of Bronze 5 players, and I hope the system is reworked so they get a more immersive and fun ranking system. Nobody enjoys gaining/losing 5 pts per match. While it isn’t a bug, it’s a bad system.
If nothing else, let them make another league under it where point gain is normal (and promotion is possible).
Let us say you are new to HotS… or humpty dumpty is new to hots… doesn’t matter who it is exactly… but you are not familar to the game but want to participate in league… they end up like 5 points -+ each game… so they would need 200 wins in a row to gain up… it ends with leaving the game behind… that’s why the community is dying here and on all other games but WoW…
And even if I win 19 out of 25 games I am get no additional points… win ratio the same… what every “pro” is talking about as a wrong fact at all… bcs even with 100% win ratio I got bronze 5… and even if I hold my ratio above the “well known” 50% border… no changes… the system is broken… for me and others… and u still say it’s not a bug… did u ever hear about account related bugs?
Or in my case… I end up each league season in bronze 5 bcs I have no progress on my account (maybe you get now why I am angry about this and on my other post and take no paper about it onto my mouth bcs that effect my league ranking and mmr… and on the other side… there are so many ppl complaining about the mmr and ranking bcs it is simple broken for individuals… and still… I am not insulting anyone if I tell the truth… Maybe I am a bit rough but not insulting… even not trough the flower… and u still bother me with incorrect facts… if you would check facts right before posting you would save our time)
I did a break from hots after beta testing and a couple of months plays… with the result I lost mostly all progress after multiple changes like ranking and so on… lost heroes from my account and so on… after I contact the support the progress was ok again… but I am back again bcs i checked my account about these informations and found out I am stucked again… are their trainees working on a productive system? I don’t know but it feels like it… doesn’t matter for me… I want help… but I guess I will end up without it… and that’s not bcs I am rough… that’s bcs blizz is to lazy… I posted a solution… pretty easy to implement… like others too… but if blizz don’t even recognize it bcs no one is here from them… and if they are… they tell us different stories on different posts… thump up!!!
That’s why I for example say Juno should get fired for it… I know that won’t happen… but he would deserve it…

PS: my account wide win ratio is 66,5% (first indicator for not getting B5)… than split up for roles… 620 games as ranged 66% win ratio (and that is my smallest amount all other are above that)… I could go on… but it ends up with being wrong placed B5 and so on…
