surrender option would be abused. specially since some people give up asap on their first death they call for GG so no thanks. games are winnable giving up early is just a point of weakness and you shouldn’t play vs real player’s if you’ll give up so fast you don’t queue and expect to be a god of some sort i deal with AI’s in my team cause the guy died twice and said bye if there was a surrender option my team would click it asap cause he actually left for dying 2 times so fast and guess what? we won with him being an AI cause no one gave up!

I am always mixed on the option for a give up button. Some scenarios you get two afk’s and now have two bots and there is no way you are going to win. Other I have seen comebacks where the first five minutes it seems you are going to get stomped and you come back.
People say that it will be abused, how? It would probably need a vote of 3 or 4 people to make it happen. And is it any different than someone saying gg and then go afk and sit in a lane, not really. Both can be reported, people can give up and throw a game even without a forfeit button.
and that is why i dont play LoL anymore.
you are mentaly weak who will give up as soon as things arent going your way and are unable to enjoy a match unless you are winning.
if the only way you can have fun playing a game is by winning, then it speaks volume about your personality , and such personality is best out of this community entirely.
if you cant enjoy a good match even though you end up losing, or trying to push yourself even when everything is against you, you are very not likely the type of person who ever perseveres in anything .
a simple option to ruin the game, i agree… lets not have it.

I don’t want stupid Abandon or Give up option. 
Matches when you win despite everything, when you probably single member of the team who has hope and still tryharding are the most pleasurable to win and most memorable.
Such games one of the reason I like to play till the end. It’s about competitive spirit, which some people lack sadly
all you gotta do is Alt+F4.
I’d like the option to use when i get stuck with afk trash as well, but its not going to happen. I dont think that just becuase the games are shorter than the competition should hold any sway here, but the devs dont want it and not enough of the player base does to make it.

Let me be honest. You are better off playing out of region w high ping than you are playing in region with no playerbase. Or play vs AI. I know it sucks to not have optimal ping especially if you are a lower ELO (not master or GM no offense)
Your choice but if you go west coast US your ping is what 180 ? I think Kid Kerrigan is in aus and streams hots almost exclusively on US West to get playable games. Give it a thought.
The game is playable on USWest from Korea. I can’t play high mechanical heroes like W-build Zeratul, but about half the roster is playable.
Didn’t even read your post. You’re not getting it. Ever. End of story. And that’s a good thing. Many of my wins have been seemingly hopeless games that we came back in in the final couple minutes. I’m sure several others will say the same. The matches aren’t long, get over it.
We like it better when we have adept AI on our team that feed or 2 people who afk. It’s more fun this way sorry 
Games are only 14-20 minutes. Is it really that hard to finish one?

I always love the defense of not having any sort of surrender option. It’s always “This one time… my entire team dc’ed and we were down all structures and me and the AI… just we won a team fight and then we blow up the forts and we woned!!!”
Yeah… Comebacks happen. We have all had em. But in general… that doesn’t usually happen and it’s kinda unfun, especially when like everyone wants to quit. Usually the enemy team doesn’t know how to end and there is that one guy who keeps fighting even if he says he’s done making the enemy think you haven’t all given up.
Every other game has a forfeit option of some sort. It’s not hard to come up with some variables to allow it. Things like needing to be a certain level amount down, certain amount of structures down, AI team mate for a certain amount of time. It doesn’t have to just be “I’m a baby lets quit”.
I think we need to actually consider this as a real thing. At least starting in Quick Match. They say it’s supposed to be quick and why we can’t have any sort of proper matching for it! Could use it as a testing ground to find a good setup that could potentially be used throughout the rest of the game that wont ruin whatever reason you guys like being horrible matches vs those who would like to quickly get into a new game that they find more enjoyable.
I know it’s unpopular here but I think there could be a middle ground if it’s implemented right. Kinda a last resort don’t have the option until certain conditions are met sorta thing. And at the very least it’s worth having some real conversation instead of the “I hate matches that are bad and I wanna quit” whiners and the “Suck it up baby!” from the other side.
PS: 15 to 20 mins is a lot to sit through in a horrible match and causes a bad experience and in todays world where our attention span is like 3 to 5 mins on a YouTube video… Just saying. Come on fam.
PS2: This game is already a toxic mess of horrible people who treat each other horrible and I don’t see how this could make it worse.
