I don’t remember why and how I have 2100 gems in my account. I suspected that I may have got baited to buy gems for the Celestial Horse in the past.
So I want to seek you guys opinions on what should I do with the gems.
Should I use it to buy 1 month boost? or I just blew everything on the lootbox or just keep the gems at there forever.
I am not particularly active in playing HoTS as I usually only managed to play like 3 or 4 games at max per day, so I not really sure buying boost is actually worth the money but then the lootbox itself is totally RNG, and I never considered myself very lucky when it comes to gambling.
I don’t play HOTS every day and when I do it’s usually 4-7 games max. I’d buy boost tbh, even if you don’t play every day, the extra gold/exp helps a lot.
Or you could buy heroes from those 2 bundles if you don’t have all heroes yet. You can buy only those that you want.
i dont think this is in yet… if it is i sure missed it
…but one of the updates for 2019 is unbundling of gem only skins. so you can pay for a single gem only skin that you may want rather than have to get all of them that you probably dont want.
i would say wait for that to hit.
buying boosts really doesnt seem interesting to me since you can get them in loot crates and you can typically get the 1 day and 3 day ones easy enough. free.
loot crates i wouldnt blow all those gems on rng.
save for particular gem only skins when they revamp the bundles.
… or if you really have to spend them then go for boosts.
i’d say spend ‘em on gem-only skins (or save them for future gem-only skins if there aren’t any that interest you currently)
pretty much everything else can be pulled from boxes, including boosts. personally i don’t think boosts are all that worth buying anyway; hero xp seems super easy to earn now, between other people’s boosts giving a bonus and at least one Call of the Nexus being up at any given time
If it were me, I’d save them up until a good skin bundle comes out that really appeals to me. I’d suggest you do the same, save up and spend only on skins you think you’d really love to have. The one year boost, well, that’s entirely up to you if you want to grind on levels for loot so go for it if that’s your plan.
I have no idea that you can get gems from leveling. Thanks for the info.
At this moment, there is no hero I want to buy. Even if there is a hero that I want to buy, I can use the in-game gold. I have 100k++ golds.
Thanks for the head up. I completely forgot about the news. You are right. I should wait for that change so I can buy the unobtainable premium skins with the gems.
Even I am big fan of Orphea, I actually don’t like the school girl outfit.
I would purchase the longest possible Boost using the gems. Unless you don’t need to level your heroes? And remember, everytime you gain i think 25 account levels or is it 50? You earn another 250 gems. So it kinda pays for itself in the long run.
