How to win vs.... Vikings!

h ttps://www.file-upload.net/download-14361004/XpdenialStructuraladvantage.StormReplay.html

The first few minutes are really relevant, where you can see me zoning the Viking away, not attacking the minion wave at all and just passively collecting xp - it adds up, for the first objective we already got a whole level lead.

Some other tricks:

  • get any dmg on Baelog, as he cant heal himself
  • get structural advantage, like malganis getting that bot Fort later
  • if you pick something made for ganking, you really have to get the kills or you re better of with a hero with good waveclear so dont hesistate to use that 100 seconds cooldown dragonblade if you are sure you can kill all vikings at once so that the cant rezz
  • rest of the game is nothing to crazy, just a good team and clean game enjoy

Until level 4.
But I know I don’t play them like anyone else does, so heck should I know how bad (I mean different) they are.

TLV being just Very Hard hero along with Medivh & Abathur that could need help here. in Heroes Profile that most played hero are Li-Ming & lower played being Cho’gall because being two hero.

Looks like he’s a TLV lvl 3 smurf trying to learn a hard hero.

Asides from that, a good strat vs them is to 1-1-3 them with a solo laner that can hard push. They especially have a hard time against Fenix offlane, Valeera or Nova roaming mid and a 3 men that have enough waveclear and sustain themselves good (Lt. Morales, Gul’dan, Johanna).

Edit: I would love to get a reply on this thread from good TLV players like Dr.Logan.

Win before level 20.

cool thread. I also think it would be good for newer players to understand how to play WITH a TLV on their side to maximise their advantages like:

  • roam as four whilst they soak
  • if a viking goes down in lane someone should rotate to soak that lane til the dead viking returns
