In theory, yes. In practice, no. Since maintenance mode I’m skeptical that they issue bans for any reports outside of abusive chat.
If they still issue bans for these offenses, the amount of reports needed to trigger anything is significantly higher than the amount of reports you could get from the amount of games you’d need to leave to start getting leaver queue, so trolls are still better off throwing the occasional match than simply leaving.
If you believe that, then you deserve to be stuck in the low MMR you likely are.
The reason I don’t believe bans are issued for intentionally dying or non participation is because I’ve viewed active profiles in-game that have hundred or thousands of games on Leoric and win rating between 5-15% with him and a KDA under 0.1.
if u leave matches ur like one of those headless chickens, you’re just the chicken who found the door to outside… look kid… the real way is to go afk in a bush near to a lane, open a video in youtube and wait the game to end… alt tab to the game to see if u ever see the message (ur getting kicked for inactivity) just hit some miniosn with the spell to avoid being kicked for afk. meanwhile you watch a video or do something else… and that way u dont play a bg game, u lose faster and u dont get leaver penalty

OP is full of crap, dota doesnt ban leavers not bots. Dota have a very complex behavior and communication score system. If you manage to reach under 3000 behavior score (max is 12000) you can no longer play ranked games. If you have lets say 7000 behavior score (rage nerds) you also have to play with other idiots that have 7000 behavior score. It’s not a perfect system but it’s a lot more than saying “dota ban noobs” LOOOL
I have actually tried dota since then. Im afraid my impression of the comunity is that its not any better then other moba communites.

I think the comunity is almost the same in each moba, and consists of:
- Ranked High elo players who almost never say a thing, sometimes they play in smurfs.
- Ranked High to medium elo players who are usually paired with low elo so they become toxic over time, usually play in smurfs and in a premade.
- Ranked low elo players who want to become better and slowly rise in rank (to gold) and they usually cry when they have a premade in the enemy team.
- “Ranked” bronze/silver players who come ranked to play like QM/ARAM, they usually are very toxic and are the ones who make other players toxic too.
- Ranked Trolls/Tradewinners, they are just a cancer which must be eliminated.
- ARAM/QM players who just want to have fun, but sometimes they can also be toxic.
Pretty much how it is in most MOBA’s. Not really something you can fix.
