I think hes gonna be the next tank i learn. Anyone wanna give me a talent rundown?
Q build is my go to. Good survivalability, good damage. I also like cdr on ally throw so i can throw them behind towers sooner
Honestly, most of his talents are situationally good, although I almost always take Indomitable, as a tank with his mobility issues really does need the Unstoppable. One tip, if you have problems hitting the E + Q combo, you can take Taunt at 10 and Taunt the target as they go flying over your head to pin them down for a bit after they land. If you are good at hitting his combo, you can EQR to guarantee a kill.
Ooooh interesting. I’ll keep that in mind.
- NEVER pick Body Check and Thirst for Battle.
- Do not overestimate your Armor.
- Pick Warlord’s Challenge only if your team actually needs hard CC.
If not, pick Decimate, because it’s more flexible and allows you to land your combo easier.
- Do NOT toss a tank into your team, especially if it’s E.T.C.
- Do NOT toss your healer into your opponents. Just. Do not.
- The best build (imo) Garrosh has right now is E:
Unrivaled Strength → ??? → ??? → ??? → ??? → Mortal Combo → Titanic Might
You may ask why does it have so many ??? talents? Because these levels are situational stuff.
- The BEST combo you can do with that build is a lvl 20 clownfiesta: E+Q+E+E
But remember, you need to toss 2 enemy heroes to do that.
- Do not try to combo fat heroes like Stitches/Diablo/Azmodan. It’s not because of their HP, but of their hitbox. Your Q will NOT hit a 2nd target, because their hitbox will be out of Q radius due to a way E works.
Aww i love those talents. Granted i only play Garrosh in QM, but still.
From my experience, uncoordinated teams get more value from long duration slows than they do from short duration stuns. This is because slows compliment slow reaction times.
As garrosh i throw someone then stun with Q. After that i use Body Check to add even more slow which definitely secures the kill.
I also like thirst for battle. It has great synergy with his other Bloodthirst talents and helps garrosh stay in the frontline for extended periods of time. If i can afford to not take Unstoppable, then T4Battle it is.
Well best source so far I can suggest is Fan’s. Unless you wait for Lauber or Mascarade to stream and give tips and explain their talent builds.
Garrosh | Talent Calculator Psionic Storm - Heroes of the Storm
Im lvl 50 garrosh
Play AA build garrosh
On 1 unrivaled strenght
4 aa
On 7 look at the enemy
10 what you prefer
13 W heals more
16 seasoned warrior
20 doublethrow or decimate 20
- Dont fst pick garrosh or you will be countered by % dmg or mobility
- Remember you can always throw an enemy over an obstacle to get temperary rit of him for example dragon shire bot obstacle throw him to the camp
- Make sure someone drafts a follow up
- If your team doesnt draft pressure (AA hero) your having a horrible time
- If you need to clear a wave. 1+E is great for that
A few more random Garrosh tips:
-
You can throw almost anything, and if you take the talent that stuns enemies around the throw target, toss a minion or merc at someone to interrupt them or stun them long enough to get in range of them.
-
You can throw the Sappers on ToD into the death zone for the core shots. This can be very handy when the enemy team is defending so you can just bypass them for a free point.
-
Throw attacking Siege Giants at your towers/fort so the structure helps you kill them faster.
-
Play with vision. A lot. Especially little walls or corners you can hide behind. No one in their right mind walks up to a Garrosh (unless they are baiting you), so it can be hard to get a good throw on a useful target. However, if they can’t see you, they either have to play more cautiously, or they will move to where you can toss them easily. Garrosh is second only to Stitches in terms of how you should abuse vision to get picks.
I am a level 0 Garrosh, but let me tell you about my extensive experience with fellow and enemy Garroshs as well as my observations. As a Garrosh you have full control on whether or not you want to start a team fight with the enemy team. You may choose to toss your healer or assassin forward into the enemy team and everyone else will follow suit. My favorite is tossing the enemy Xul backwards right next to fellow team mates so that he can expedite the use of poison nova.
All joking aside, throwing heroes around is cool, just do so with caution.
Also throw in your hanzo so he can unleash his roar
all his level 1’s are good but i LOVE taking the E talent because that combined with CDR at 16 and double throw you can deal some INSANE damage and do some really good lockdown, lv 4 go unstoppable. taunt is better 99% of the time and shield on Q stun at 13 is probably the best.
some tips? stay mounted as much as possible, and bushes are your friend. people know to walk away from you if you start approaching them so if they walk up to you in a bush (or close enough anyways) and you have the movement speed of +30% from mount, they cant demount you if they are walking away.
Lol at all the people telling you to pick unrivaled strength at 1 and then writing about how hard it is to land his combo.
Well, nobody said it will be easy. You can still pick Warbreaker if you’re new to Garrosh.
If your picking unrivaled stranght. You will hit your combo on the outer edge.
This shoudnt matter
Get a team, Garosh is as bad as every other heroe when you don’t play in a 9v1 matchup.
But if everyone is bad, then none is.
