Not gonna post the picture but you should know by now that some people still support that kind of rotten culture.

I saw a docomentary about former SS solders that still salute pictures of him in thier home and they dont regreat what they did properly because they were brainwashed since youth.

Just report and hope something will happen but dont get your hopes high cause people like them can just make a smurf and do it again. Its sad but thats how society is nowdays.

It is that. As Froggy said, report them both for “Inappropriate Name” and as they have done a work around with Cho’gall, add text in the description fields to explain this.

My only hope when I see stuff like this (not just in Hots, but online in general) is that hopefully it’s just adolescents who don’t really understand (or care) about the implications of this stuff, but (wrongly) think it’s edgy and funny.

why do you care ? nothing to do with some trolls on a video game.

the span of time you’re referencing is not accurate to what you’re claiming. You don’t know if account action has been taking against those previously, nor do you know if it won’t happen at all in the future.

However, the capacity for people to commit mischief far exceeds the ability for anyone to enforce it; it’s difficult, time consuming, and it’s not worth it to go after each and every variation that bypasses typical filters and detection.

While [we] call it “World War” the entire ‘world’ was not actually involved, so some regions that are recently getting technological access have a vast unknown to explore and only know that certain names/icons/etc garner a lot of reactions, but they don’t know why: it’s not in their history and does not necessary reflect “racism” or rather, nationalism. So yea, some people don’t actually know what happen in that war, a or myriad of others.

Point of contrast, but “largewood” could either be taken as an anatomical euphemism, or an indication that you are a warmonger yourself and, due to caps, are flaunting favoritism for particularly ‘sickening’ fantasies. Should people run aghast that that name hasn’t been reported for almost a month now? Or rather, some people surmise that you have had reports and are embittered less by the actual names, but the mere observation that anyone could have a ‘more offensive’ name than any you’ve used, and not have the name forcibly changed on the spot

why are you trying to give legitimacy to these people ? you’re one of two trying to defend yourself lol, also you made a mistake in judgment in the first paragraph, but at least you tried.

You posted and I made an answer to your post.

and you went from the rooster to the donkey.

Very hard to report for another reason too; Cho’Gall names always have plausible deniability since it could just be an accident.

This one is probably intentional, but it’s very hard to tell with 100% certainty. Banning the players on the spot would be stupid given how the Cho’Gall naming system works.

maybe one of them had nothing to do with this but was tricked by another player to make that name to purposefuly ban him, so indeed, this should be treated with caution.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar…

That sounds a bit convoluted just to get that name on the screen, but not impossible I suppose.

I doubt either would be banned, usually they are just forced to change usernames.

What does this even mean? Wait are you a bot?

It might be an idiom in another language that loses its meaning in English.

Although the combined user name is inappropriate it does not necessarily mean they are racists. For them to be racists they would have to admit to be racists, especially if the user names separately are not inappropriate. If they do, then report them.

As far as evidence provided in this thread they could be two immature kids who think it is funny to use Cho Gall’s automatic name generation to bypass banned word lists.

in which case they should be punished

How cute. And you the one who complain about racist names.

Which is a slippery slope for anyone who accidently makes a rude or inappropriate word by playing chogall with someone else. Especially if they choose their user names before chogall was added.

That’s some going out of the way trolling. They had to sit there and formulate the name.

So far, I’ve never heard anyone complain on the forums (new and old) or the Hots subreddit about being banned for an inappropriate B-Tag. Usually in cases like this players have their username changed by Blizzard to something default with “pants” or some such like it.

No real pearl clutching needs to be done over this issue. I’ve seen countless usernames more offensive than the one in the OP and the most I’ve seen is they had their name reported and reset.

It does not. A rooster is also known as another word that is forbidden on the forums. The same is true for a donkey, a donkey can be referred to another word which is a swear.

Do the math.
