I know its just a rumor that mount speed will be reduced, which idk where that rumor came from since I think the only rumor was something with mount speed.

One way to slightly reduce snowball is increasing mount speed so a team can get back to the objective faster but if they slow the mount speed down then a team will take longer to get back…

If they slow the mount speed, im done with game. Its clear they want this game to be as snowball as possible if they reduce the mount speed.

I think it doesn’t need to go faster or slower, it’s fine as it is…

A lot of people discussed this on reddit with the global mount changes speculating that mounts are going to get changed during blizzcon, so I would say the rumor build itself up in that patch note thread.

Yeah but the initial rumor just mentioned mount speed, I think.

The leak was full of red flags, at least for HotS. The only thing that can be remotely true is what everybody is expecting: Overwatch crossover 2018.

Yeah, can’t really see that change going live as it’s a change that, even if it has a point, it’ll ultimately make the game less fun and more tedious.

Most changes seemed to have been done to make the game better - I came to appreciate the laning changes w/2 globes + infinite tower ammo, as it requires you to deliberately push at the right time and hugely rewards winning lane.

Mount speed is not the issue of HotS: many other more important things should be addressed to try at last to fix the game (like the MMS, that could be improved by a lot and so on).
Also the entire discussion about mount speed is born on Reddit, so nothing official for now but BlizzCon is about to start so just wait and see (I suppose we’ll have tons of argument to discuss after the panels).

Yeah I’m eating breakfast as I wait for Blizzcon to start. Can’t wait to vomit out my food when I see the HotS announcements :see_no_evil:
