HotS-Fun with localizations

As the HotS client is available in various localizations, there is some creative freedom for the translators coming with it for abilities, maps, talents and hero´s names (in case for some heroes at least).

If you happen to play on a client whose setting is not english, post the backtranslation of a talent, ability or a name that differs from the english variant. You got a bit of leeway with the backtranslation, but it needs to fit what it is in the translated version. Literal translations are probably best.

Others can then guess what the heck that is. I´ll start with a few simple ones, but i am not going to tell you yet if those are abilities, talents or heroes.

  4. Two are better than one
  5. Gluttony
  6. Blown away by knowledge
  7. Fall Guy
  8. Cold Feet
  9. Time-Pressure
  10. Chaos is a ladder

Your 11 and 12 are Brightwing and Stitches. rcw German confirmed!

Edit: Some quite odd translations, but I remember Orphea having something like friss und weg(?)

That´s not from a hero i play regularly, but it sounds like something Raynor might have. I´ll need to think hard what this might be without simply looking it up.

Happs und Weg. Happs is nasty to translate.

Definitely Protoss, most likely Alarak or Zeratul.

That’s actually the translation of Conjurer’s Pursuit (I don’t think it’s in the game anymore…?). And yes, it was called Trickkiste.
When I stumbled over German patch notes and read that word, I had no clue what they were talking about.

That would have taken me a while. I guess those talents were already on their way out when i started.

Try #2. Cho’Gall’s Twisting Nether. It fits optically and thematically, in my head at least.

I also overlooked it’s an ability, not a talent.
