The same issue happened to me years ago only to Heroes of The Storm. It never crashed on World of Warcraft.
Most of players doesn’t know how the game engine affect systems. To understand that we have to ask developers but they will not share their secrets how the game evolved from Sc2 mod to current build and how to identify problem that cause the driver crashes.
