I started a game of Hots and somehow my entire keyboard got rebound to do weirdly specific paths.
For example, the D key was tabbing out of the game, the W key was bringing up Windows start menu, ect. I couldnt even type or play the game. I had to restart my PC to fix this and someone told me this happened to them too.
This is the most bizarre bug I have ever seen and I’m wondering how wide spread this actually is.

It sounds like your windows key got stuck. Windows key + D minimizes everything so that you can see your desktop. Windows key by itself brings up the start menu.

I’ve seen modifier keys like shift or ctrl get stuck before- usually you can set it straight by simply pressing the button once.
Had you tried pressing your windows key as you were experiencing this?
I haven’t had the problem OP has had. But if i ever do, this is the first thing i’ll try. Very helpful response.
I can confirm this bug, this is damn anoying and is system wide, even in other games or on desktop. Sometimes by smashing windows key / + alt it seems to get the stuck away. Sometimes it doesn’t. Closing Hots seems to always work. This error happens only while running hots.
Hot fix, throw out your keyboard then? xD
Even better Hot fix, delete Hots.
