Just noticed my email had a notification from HP back from the start of the month.
Group Size (solo, duo, tri, etc) has been added as a filter to the global hero stats.
This doesn’t currently extend into the talents page, but I thought I’d point this out since I hadn’t seen anyone mention it on the forums yet.
So when people look at stats, that’s one more filter to keep in mind when people are making claims

Besides a few obvious setup heroes that won’t work as well solo (kerri, stitches), filtering by popularity does give a pretty good overview of what is effective at beating QM casuals and what you should pick to avoid 5 stacks. I suppose picking valla, anduin, alarak or johanna would give you slightly lower odds of being vs a stack.

Leaderboards are only counting those that installed the app for uploading matches. There’s probably ways to cheat that app too, if someone wants really badly to appear good at a skeleton game on a 3rd party site.
Everyone uploading matches manually is not in the leaderboards. The global statistics are more relevant than the leaderboards…
