Zuljin can only get to 50 stacks. That’s a wild change wow.

Bestow Hope [Trait]

Increased the amount of energy stored from 60% to 80% of damage to Heroes.
Increased the amount of energy stored from 20% to 50% of damage to non-Heroes.

That´s nice in case one lacks a decent generator in the team, i guess.

Sure dude now ETC bonus damage is aditive but Dehaka Armor bonus is still not aditive right?
When are you going to Fix the following Dehaka Bugs:

  • Drag´s stun dont works vs the Altar’s Miniboss in Sky Temple but any other kind of stun works vs it.
  • “Enduring Swarm” and “Pack Leader” armor bonus NEVER stack with other armor bonus (like bw Pixie Dust), making Dehaka the only hero besides Deathwing whose armor bonuses never stacks…

        • Fixed an issue that caused Flame Buffet’s Slow to be instantly removed on targets with reduced duration on being Slowed.

Alexstrasza’s E is broken. It no longer slows, refunds mana on consecutive hits, deals extra damage, and the duration is all messed up. I don’t think it’s renewing the duration if it hits again, or registering the burn.

The game I just played was awful, only able to use Q and W, as E was just a mana drain.

I don’t see this in the notes. Guess I better boot it up and see for myself

Edit: I see it now. You still need to reach 150 stacks, but it only gives a max of 50 dmg. Well, RIP Zul’jin. What’s next, a cap on Butchers damage from meat?

That’s wild they went through with the ZJ stack limit. Extremely anti-fun and against the design of the hero, especially with how low the limit is. I thought we would see another iteration before release.

In most of my games, I land between 300-400 stacks. If the limit were 300 I would probably accept it, but I still don’t think this is the right way to go about things. I liked the direction the original set of notes were taking, but also they were too heavy handed. This one, on the other hand, feels like a bandaid attempt.

The reason for these changes seem to be related primarily to talent diversity and reducing the hero’s reliance on high stacks.

Part of the challenge here is that Recklessness did not always have 2x stacking below half, and once they added that feature they made the talent a must pick. Similar to how Amani Rage used to be a talent, but was so integral to the hero they made it baseline.

This would be my patch instead:

Zul’jin

Base

  • Attack damage increased from 94 to 96.

You Want Axe? (Quest)

  • Adjusted Functionality: Quest attack damage reward reduced from 1 to 0.75.

Berserker (Passive)

  • Additional Functionality: While below 50% health, Basic Attacks against Heroes grant an additional stack of You Want Axe?.

Recklessness (Lvl 1)

  • Adjusted Functionality: While Zul’jin is below 75% Health, he gains 10% Spell Power. While he is below 50% Health, his Basic Attack damage is increased by 15% and he gains an additional 5% Spell Power.

Amani Hide (Lvl 4)

  • Adjusted Functionality: Lower Amani Rage’s cooldown by 10 seconds, increase the health lost to 60% current health, and gain 15 Armor while regenerating Health from it.

Comment: Proper Amani Rage usage is really important for a skilled Zul’jin. It is no longer risky enough once it gives armor.

Guillotine (Lvl 10)

  • Cooldown reduced from 40 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • Mana cost reduced from 70 to 60.

Taz’dingo! (Lvl 10)

  • Cooldown increased from 90 seconds to 100 seconds.
  • Mana cost increased from 75 to 80.

Let the Killing Begin (Lvl 16)

  • Kill window reduced from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds.

Buzzsaw (Lvl 20)

  • Kill window reduced from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds.

Comment: 0.75s kill window is the right balance between a little forgiving but not so long it causes confusion.

A Surprise For Ya (Lvl 20)

  • Additonal target chosen is now the closest to original attack target (was random), prioritizing Heroes
  • Additional attack can now benefit from Grevious Throw mark, including its damage increase, armor ignore, and max health on-hit.

Comment: These adjustments make this talent the premiere choice for Q build. It is still not worth taking otherwise.

Fixed or implemented? Because that’s exactly what just happened in the first match after reboot.

Ye, I just played with Zulijn and I reached the limit after around 3-4 minutes, I was around level 4  (it was with Recklessness talent, mind you). So, it looks like Recklessness talent got double nerfed because it was nerfed to 10% bonus attack damage, which is the same bonus as completed Headhunter, and you don’t really need that double stacks part, because of how low that limit is. So looks like Headhunter is a better choice. But still Boneslicer and whole Q talent tree is probably the strongest on Zul anyway, even before nerf. It’s like twice the damage on marked target.

yall picked the worst first brawl =(

Best part is the return of brawls!!!

Ever since they stopped development I’ve been hoping they’d bring these back. To quote Tychus, “About damned time.”

I like it. It’s some variety to gameplay.

And it only makes sense with it being around the time of the Lunar New Year.

With her changes and buff to Rez, I predict the start of the Cho’gall meta!

I don’t understand why you not just adding every brawl mode to custom game section and let finaly players decide to have fun again in your game with the old good modes. Like the starcraft event map or pool map etc. @Blizzard i would like to understand why you removed something which was already added to the gamefiles.

Holy hell, they added new skins. It’s just two tints, for the Overwatch Johanna and Raynor, but they’re new. They’re also really cool tints because they’re maskless variants.

I’m only this excited because these are the first honest-to-god totally new cosmetics added since active development ended.

ARAM or Normal gamemode

Ye, pool map with 5v5 Stiches was pretty fun as a side mode.
