What it really usefull to change the talent sorting for Butcher when everyone that plays him is accustomed the way it was ? Pretty annoying, especially for a character that remained unchanged all those years. It feels more like a useless or annoying change, than something beneficial.

Got to try that Medivh change now, forgot to login to PTR when it first read that one.

Snow brawl is back and arthas got a buff! Thank you so much devs, this is SUPER awesome! I saw the pull party splash screen so hopefully that’s a hint torwards that too! Would be awesome to have a brawl mode like aram too. This is super awesome, great job!

Coming from a 35m match can say that Arthas silence is insanely strong but impossible to pull off correctly when needed. I would very much prefer to benefit from it on demand when I press the first button rather than have literally everyone in the game dash away before Coil catches up to them to trigger the effect.

It is also very awkward for a hard hitting D attack not able to use the second charge unless attacking heroes. If the first swing of lvl 16 talent does not hit a hero, you lose on the second empowered swing completely. This is straight up a downgrade to previous functionality.

Glyph of poly bomb should be in the numbered slots like portal mastery. Anyone wants quick cast on single target CC spells, for AoE spells it’s preferable to have the AoE visible.

edit: OK, you’re actually able to set a separate quick cast hotkey. Doesn’t seem like it supports changing the normal cast ulti hotkey for just one hero. If you want that it seems you have to just have a separate profile loaded whenever you play the hero.

Here’s some Arthas numbers. He’s flavor of the evening for obvious reason but really nothing has changed and I would even argue that he is slightly worse now. He continues being mechanically inferior to other tanks.

High damage in first screenshot is just in comparison to other players, who were really bad, but not enough had changed with him for you to consistently recreate this in a non clown match.

The second one is also a full melee build, but in a premade group through support of Abathur. On Tyrande I am countered asf but I can still find ways to play around the limitations and perform well mainly because of how immobile Arthas is.

Such a waste of PTR. The first adjustment may have been a little too much but right now it does not feel any better to before the patch. Landing a silence is extremely satisfying but in the attempt to make the play of the game you will most likely throw the match by holding off your cooldowns.

The first game is almost twice as long but I had only 30k solo healing whereas the other Arthas in the second game had 70k in half the time (heal padding on minions, 2x siege damage). I do not really see him becoming more popular as there is nothing impressive about these numbers.

Patch broke samuro again. Lvl 1 talent way of illusion is supposed to only proc off hero hits. I finished the quest at lvl 2 with nothing but minion hits.

Update. 3 days later, it’s fixed.

Christmas comes early to the Nexus, I forgot how fun it was to read patch notes, even if they aren’t extensive.

Thank you, Dev, for adding back Snow Brawl to custom games, I can’t wait to take Arthas and D.Va for a spin, and the Li Li Q change might make Free Drinks a more attractive pick. I appreciate the change to Murky’s eggshell, but I still don’t think I will take it over the other two, but will try it out.

Lastly, thanks for the Xmas splash art, isn’t there a board game lying around not being played? Okay, I’m being too greedy.

As you say, the Butcher is well overdue for any attention, perhaps the change to talent sorting is a prelude to some more substantial talent adjustments in the near future. Yeah, yeah, I know, I’m still allowed to dream, leave me alone.

actually after a few matches the whitemane inquisition outline is hella useful they get close to leaving the area I start running at them with a lash ready

Silence on bruiser build looks really scary, sad that they basically killed Frostmourne Feeds though (remorseless winter was still better for every build anyways)

I would love this. Blackheart’s Bay would be a welcome addition in Ranked, as some heroes really excel on that map.

Not knowing programming, I’m uncertain how much work this would entail, but a fairly simply fix I’d suggest for BHB, would be to redistribute the damage a turnover does to structures. They could make it, so the damage is evenly distributed over all standing structures, or have a turnover simply do less damage, in line with Hanamura for example.

This would mean, the first team to get a turnover is less likely to lose all their towers/fort mid-lane after the first turnover, which can sometimes give an advantage that is difficult to recover from.

BHB could need some changes to the ship mechanics. And maybe also remove the mini mercs that give coins too and limit coins to actual merc camps. But then double the coins given from boss from 2-4.
