Like what is available for SC2, WC3, Overwatch. Let’s create custom map designs that would run in a custom maps mode in HotS.
That would be a fun new feature.

It definitely would, and they even had plans for that at the beginning of HoTS. Sadly they scrapped that and now it will probably never happen. I remember in an AMA the devs response to a map editor was basically this:
“It would take too much people and time to make a map editor for the community, so it’s not viable to do it anymore”.

Even with Microsoft? Oh my God, Blizzard must’ve become lazy. They had also cancelled Odyssey…
But with the layoffs earlier this year, I guess there’s no more hope for such a tool being released.
