so i’ve seen a good number of people who doesn’t know how to post a link to an image and despite replying to them on how to do it they ignored and continued to complain about “it’s not allowing me to post a link” either they can’t read or just trolling whatsoever.

so those of you who actually want to post links but don’t have Trust Level 3 yet. you can still do it but the image won’t appear in the chat but that’ll make it easier for people to copy the link instead of doing this
https:// whatever .com? this way you just make it not worth copying it and then deleting the spaces or perhaps ppl will think you’re trolling so they delete the spaces and end up it’s a random link or something stupid whatsoever.

it’s so simple to post a link if you follow this instructions Below.

first thing is you can see the list of icons when you’re replying to any thread doesn’t matter which one it is. when you click reply you’ll find the list of icons in top! right there you can see the </> arrows which you must click them after you write your reply so you can put the link right away

after you finish writing whatever you want you can click that
if you wanted to post a link to image or video or whatsoever
and it’ll appear to you like this exactly.

so after that Performatted text appear you just have to delete it and only the words inside don’t touch the `` at the start / end of it just delete the Performatted text inside of them. then you can post your link right away and it’ll be showing and people will be able to copy paste it so easily!

and that’s it! that’s how you can post a link to anything you want any site anything at all. without needing Trust Level 3! i don’t know if anyone will bother with this but anyways here it is! hope it helps whoever that doesn’t know how to post links.

It should be noted that all Blizzard operated sites plus several others are whitelisted for all, so tying if it works first would be best before using preformatted text.

Yes, except this doesn’t need to always be the case.

For example the following is allowed regardless of level:

  • Youtube, Twitch.
  • Reddit, Twitter, Facebook (Basically generic social medias)
  • All Blizz websites.

How do you know what trust level you are?

through this. https://trustlevel.000webhostapp.com/ you write your battletag if you’re using the same account / email you’re using for hots & forums that way you can see it there

Does trust level 3 let you post embedded images? I see that all the time but I never was able to do it. I only found out how to add links this morning lol. Only starting using this forum like 2 months ago.

Trust Level 3 allows you to post images and all of that good stuff! as long as you don’t post something disgusting whatsoever. else you’ll most likely lose it so fast
