Hello,
I have been playing HOTS for a few years in the Asian region and will be moving to Canada soon. I live in Asia right now.
Is there a way I will be able to transfer my game progress (the skins I have accumulated, the levels, the mounts, unlocked heros etc…) to the Canadian/USA server?
I understand that on the Blizzard battle.net launcher one can select the region to play in (EU, Asia, America) but if I pick America, I will have to start from level 1). On the Asian server my account is level 380 with many nice skins I really like.
Will I be able to transfer game data? and if no, will I have problems playing on this Asian server with my current Asian account when I am in Canada?
Thank you
No you cant and will start from level 1.
Welcome to blizzard in 2019.

You can play asia still I believe, but the problem will be lag, a considerable amount of it.

Level 380, that’s nothing more than a new account. Leave it and start anew in the NA region. You won’t lose anything anyway. Would be useful if you return back one day.
I see, well thanks Folks for your responses.
Why do you think Blizzard does not give the option (even for an admin fee) to transfer game data to another countries’ server?
I would think a business would be more than happy if their clients wish to continue their patronage even after moving countries

Probably: Cost of implementing such a service is higher than the few players would be worth.
Cold accounting view.
The technology is there already, Overwatch’s are global and can be played on any region.
I see no issue this not being the case for HotS too.
