i just saw a bunch of games mostly QP where you can find some serious trolls… and was thinking and calculatinf (rounding) about whats worst to have, a teammates that non stop dying or someone who just sits in base or left the game leaving a bot… and having a badteammate that feeder is way worse that someone is just bad/boring at the hero he was plauying and decide to go afk… just because the feeder keeps giving enemy team a free farm of xp at will… also helping them to complete quests…having the feeder (even if you manage to reach) at lvl 20 is just a straight up lose condition… there is no scape untill the “feeder” is not actually a bad player but a tilted one and it changes his mindset midgame… on the other hand the afk player who just do nothing might in a fight who is 4v5 thats bad for not be helping but if you manage to get the bot is a kinda 4,5 v 5 yet most bots are ver bad they at least follows you and can help with “something”… helping to win a game with a bot is not a weird thing to me when i have an afk… so punishing poeple for leave is a non sense… nobody should be force to play if he doesnt want to… a penalty for leaving is not actually usefull… and i rather having a bot than a feeder… i dont know what others thinks but based on my games the feeder is worse than a bot
Both should be punished. Both are making the game harder for the team.
I’ll say this now though, sometimes people say someone is inting when they are just bad players, which is fine. Being bad isn’t against the rules.
Those trolls are the main problem not the game.
I would agree if you were playing a 1v1 game but you dont. Quing up just to leave again and waste 4 other players time is not how you win respect. And a surrender button would just get abused by the weakest link on the team and if he dont get what he wants then he afk in base or tower feed.
Nobody is being forced to do anything. If all someone is going to do is leave then they shouldn’t start a match in the first place. And unless a person is willing to cooperate and work with the rest of the team, whether the rest of the team are a pro or not, then they should not even play this game. Because that is what this game is mostly about, is teamwork.

I’ll do you one better. Imagine having a player only partially afk so he doesn’t get booted but does absolutely nothing to contribute. Those are the worst lol.

But to your point: Why? Players who win with a bot in their team shows their team has skills enough to win 4v5 OR that the opposing team is weak in skills.
Why lie about something that is clearly the players trying to make the best of a bad situation? A bot was added to the game, they should at least feel proud they were able to win with a disadvantage.
It is also common knowledge that Bots are trash.
Next time, instead of booting up HOTS, how about you don’t boot up HOTS?

Sounds like heavy copium to accept afkers over feeders. Both are despicable and worthy of a ban.
In ARAM I’d prefer a quitter-type AFKer (as in alt+F4) over an AFKer who lingers around in game still or a feeder. The worst type of teammate is obviously a feeder as in just keep running in and dying on purpose. The second worst thing is when the person runs around in base insulting the team while they throw a spell out every min or so in order to not be booted. The third worst situation is a teammate who pick a high skill ceiling (or floor) hero but keep dying due to diving in 1v5. You get Illidans, Genjis or Valeeras who die 15x in 10 minutes (and continue to jump into fights they have no chance of winning). Who would not prefer an AI after teammate alt+F4s instead of these other scenarios?
I have won a game with two AIs on my team in ARAM without much difficulty. I was Azmodan green globe build w/ buffed autoattacks and kept the AIs next to me. The other two teammates were okay. Usually we’d lose with AI of course but it’s not uncommon to win with one AI. Clearly more evidence that alt+F4 is somewhat acceptable if the person needs to leave. One guy kept AFKing then I called him out and he said he is playing during an Earthquake? Like just log off bro…
The problem is that collecting experience at level 10-13-16-20 is also considered AFK by bad players. But it’s still better than just AFK. Suddenly ye will live to see the 20th, and ye can make one last attempt to win a team fight (although this also doth not give the any guarantee that thy teammates will follow ye to the core).
P.s. By the way, the feed it’s sort of AFK too.
I’ve won many games with an AI replacement, but naturally I’ve lost more than I’ve won.
The rub is, how well the AI will perform will depend greatly on the hero the AI is controlling, and how well your team manages the AI.
Many players don’t know how to ping the AI, or know (for example) you can command it to drink from a healing fountain, this requires you to walk the bot to the fountain and ping the fountain, it’s cumbersome.
That being said, sometimes it’s almost impossible to win with the AI, some heroes like Lt. Morales, the AI is coded so terribly, that no matter how well you manage it, it might not even use the healing beam, where a Genji can be lethal with his ULT’s and can wipe an enemy team when they are all low health, but outside that scenario, the Genji bot will be pretty useless.
Due to leash range, controlling some heroes with a Tank, might not be optimal if the hero is a KT, as it will be in melee range and just feed deaths. Likewise, simply binding a ranged hero to another ranged hero doesn’t always help this issue either, it can often lead to the AI just sanding back and doing nothing at all.
im not troling I genuinely think that having a leaver afk/bot is way better than someone who just feeds constatly and grants enemy team 3+ levels free… think whatever u want if u get tilted by my post labeling it like a troll post then probably ur one of those feeders
yeah thats terrible too but way worse than having a feeder… its better to have the bot … anyways if ur good u can win (or at least trying) to win a 4v5 and u might win with one of these…

If somebody is actually full on inting like running into towers or running into the enemy team on spawn then yeah it probably is worse than afking for the reasons you said.
Like Darak said though if people are bad and just die a lot due to poor positioning or whatever that’s not actually inting.
I’d agree that most of the time inting and afking are both scummy and i’d want to see neither. However more than once recently when an ally has disconnected the bot has actually been more useful than the player they replaced and when the other player reconnects it felt like the chance to win went out of the window.
yeah but the problem is some people dont know they are inting… they think their character is invulnerable or they do not care about dying… then proceed to play recklessly and dying on cooldown making a the game a constand 4v5… i would rather they to leave the game
yeah its not inting… i got a lot of these people… new accounts or low level accoutns (below 100) who play the free heroes like jaina, muradin or tyrande and these people just keep dying over and over… playing worse than a bot
yeah inters and afk are terrible… im just saying in Qm at least for me there is 100% of probabilities that in at least the first 10 games as solo Q i will end up paired with some teammate who is one of those… either an inting or afkers… and im just tired of that… matchmaking doesnt give me a break putting me with terrible trolls… unlike the enemy team whom they doesnt looks like never have any inters players or afkers there… all are on my side

i still no agree with this… since matchmaking is trash…,… and most of people are really bad trolls who doesnt know how even to plat their character … if im having an etc saying in qm “im just testing this character” and he’s wandering over all the map doing nothing but wasting skills on cooldown making all match aconstant 4v5 making me losing 10 mins in a losing boring trash game… when this happens i MUST HAVE THE FREEDOM to leave that trash piece of dodo game and jump into another one with more chances of winning… thats not any truth not even close… i start my match hoping having a full supportive teammates wanting to play as A TEAM IN ORDER TO WIN… if i have trolls … feeders or afker… i SHOULD LEAVE WITHOUT BEING PUNISHED
