This has been happening for years now. I am in hero select and I select my hero. I hit ready. I get to the loading screen and guess what. I am a different character. I don’t know how this has not been fixed. It happens about 1 in 20 games. It is super annoying and if I leave the game because Blizzard makes me play someone I did not choose, I get penalized. Please fix this bug. If I pick DEHAKA, don’t make me play KERRIGAN!
Gets posted here at least weekly, if not more. Thousands of people have reported this over 5 years.
Unfortunately there is no fix, this has been going on in Quick Match since the game was launched and they still haven’t found a solution/don’t know how to solve it.
Since Blizzard tends to read the HotS reddit more frequently than this place, I also have reported the bug there in 2016, 2018 and 2019. Response every time is “we’re working on it”.
