Gazlow turret build nerfed to the ground

The turret build was the only reason Gazlow was fun playing. Now it’s RIP. Why Blizzard? Why do you break what ain’t broken? :worried:

He can put down multiple turrets at once with zero delay unlike before. Doesn’t need to go back for mana either. He also has multiple ways to increase their damage.

How did they break him?

The problem that turret build was the ONLY one playable. They did really good job on reworking him, now he isnt useless without turrets.

Different is bad.

if you can’t talent into making turrets slow anymore, then turrets = ded :frowning:

turret build was the reason he was never picked in pro games. There is no place for heroes that needs tons of setup time. That’s why Probius is dead in the water as well. They made Gazlowe a melee hero now that at least can roam with the rest without first having to setup Gazlowe city before he is useful

Turret City build.

Run this build if you want OP Gazlowe and you won’t miss old gazlowe:

  1. Big Game Hunter – for scrap regen
  2. Hyperfocus Coils, to get %based dmg to heroe and to heal
  3. Either Goblin fusion, or Master blaster Blaster for slow and Goblin fusion for more turrets.
  4. Either talent I lean toward Gravo bomb because wombo combo is real fun
  5. Overcharged Capacitors for Turret City.
  6. Overklock for %damage on a second source… and mobility
  7. Level 10 upgrade no real preference

turret build was also by far the most toxic to play against IMO

I’m glad it was nerfed

There still is a turret slow, it’s just a bit obscured. Master Blaster adds a slow to his W and E, and makes his turrets extend the duration.

WTF are you doing adapting?

You’re just supposed to complain. You don’t understand how things work here!

oh great. some convoluted combo pattern that i need to pull off, instead of just “turrets slow by 20%.” :expressionless:

“The most fun” build is the one where you don’t have to do anything.
LOL

Alternatively, it’s a slow for two of his abilities that he has an alternative way to extend. It has extra utility now outside of his turrets, but synergizes with the turrets, letting you mix and match builds. You don’t gotta be cynical about it.

Also, it’s a 35% slow.

But… his turrets are on the ground.

because creating a new ability to replace the terrible laser is hard apparently.

If you’re going turrets you might as well toss in the cheaper turrets and scrap gives more when picked up at 20.

Not to mention hitting the bomb or laser is pretty easy now. You can drop a turret on whoever is stunned and they get stuck eating autos.

Silly developers chose to make the talent better by making the charge time much faster and give Gazlowe a means to self heal and make more turrets… Soo silly…

Look this is hero is probably the craziest OP hero I’ve seen in a while.

I hope he’s not OP. I want a shake up for the bruiser meta and the reworks on the PTR should do that. Dva and Gaz seem to be in good shape balance wise. Dva may be a bit under powered for people not used to her kit but she could be a strong sleeper pick. Gaz on the other hand may be pushing it into OP territory. Will have to see how he does against the top bruisers on the live servers before making any judgments though.
