While I was recently playing, the game was hijacked by a player that spammed chat with an exploit that caused the game to lag and players to get forcedly ejected from the game.
afterwards I confronted the player via private message and they proceeded to harass, threaten to dox me, and attempt to compromise my game by spamming that same message in my private message
I have since prevented messaging from non-friends and reported the individual,
However, this spammable chat message caused everyone in the game to lag and disconnect. Whats worse is this could be sent vis private message, so you could theoretically compromise the game of anyone you can message.
I have the recording and a screen recording of the message(s), but I cant find an avenue to contact blizzard directly.
I dont think it wise to post it here and some people could try it out themselves and spread this game breaking bug
It’s been a while since I myself have done it, but somewhere in the bug reports section here, there should be a post about where to find your replays and how to send them directly to blizzard. Other than that, not much else you can do.
