so…I’ve noticed this more than once now, our game ended, we won in this case, and then as it was showing the MVP screen, instead it showed a screen like what you see when you rejoin a game but it has finished. Like “This game has ended” and there is the Quit option.
Now I have leaver penalty. And marked as a loss I guess? We WON. the game was OVER.
Really bad bug.
It has been asked over and over, it is incredibly dumb to give a leaver penalty once the core has already exploded.
Looks like a game engine related issue if they can’t code a win to happen the moment a core goes to 0% health for 5+ years. It only happens after you leave MVP screen.
When a core dies, that is the end of the game. It’s unfair to punish anyone dc’ing after that point.
Just FYI, it may show like a loss but you still get mmr/points. This happened to me in ranked once and even though it was showing a loss in my match history, I got the points for the game (and I actually had a disconnect 10 seconds before the enemy core was killed).
Getting leaver status sucks though 
to be clear, I did not leave or disconnect. It just…glitched on the MVP screen.
That is even worse. I was under the impression the game is finally registered as finished once MVP screen shows up. Guess I was wrong.
Giving leaver penalty during minor glitches or lag in MVP screen is absurd.
The game is not in progress anymore at that point.
But then its a bug and those who it happen to, must be given their points back, and not over 10 or 50 games - Not really fair for that person. Blizzard or the hots Dev must! or need to look at this issue or must have known it for a long time.
I had this happen again today, but this time it did not even get to the mvp screen. Same exact symptoms. It comes up with a menu instead of playing the correct end of round sequence.
This is a new bug they’ve introduced. I’ve never had this happen in years of playing, now several times in one week.
Well, that is game breaking. There is even no way to avoid it if it’s in MVP screen after the game 
I guess we can talk about about this until the game have 0 playes, i dont see any action on this kinda issues when they update / balance the heroes. They care more to do small change in few heroes, and leave all the others bugs inside the game. i dunno, ill see next season. now i will play as i didnt care to win, that might help.
